This is on the same exit as the rest stop. I was racing to get a shot of the sunset & got off the highway here. We weren’t looking to cook dinner tonight, just drive. We got the pulled pork with okra & a side of fried pickles. They were all delicious. But the show stopper was that ranch dressing! Sooo good! Stop in for the perfect driving food or sit down and stay a while. But if you do order to-go, tip your server.

We ordered take out here last week. There was a bit of a wait, but once you taste the food, you’ll see why. Let me start off by saying I do not eat ribs nor am I a big BBQ person (because ive only had them once where I liked them). This dish was not mine, but my co-driver’s. When we opened our to-go boxes, I looked over and knew immediately I needed to try this meat. Absolutely incredible ribs. The flavor was everything. You don’t even need their BBQ sauce to enjoy their food. But it is delicious as well. I ordered the wedge salad and it was amazing too. The customer service is great and the ladies were very pleasant and friendly. Definitely want to stop here and grab some food again! The fried okra was good. Wasnt too fond of their mashed potatoes (lacked flavor big time). Overall, satisfied!!

Food was pretty good. We had BBQ combo plate, 1 lb smash burger, quesadillas, fries, salads, fried brussel sprouts. Seating was a little tight as this seems to be a very popular place with locals.

I’m going to give it two stars because the folks that were real nice and the price point was right for what it is. But I used to work at this place when it was obese and I’m from Georgia I know barbecue and I don’t mean to be mean or unfair but the ribs were soggy and the sauce was the weirdest thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. I spent 13 years in the kitchen and I have never tasted anything like that I’m not sure if it’s bad or not but to me that was not barbecue. There was also no bark on there or on the brisket that wasn’t even smoked it was baked (not bad just not smoked) and the only meat that seemed truly smoked was the pulled pork. Bad use of a 18 ft smoker guys. Sad to see the state of the food now. This used to be some of the best smoked bbq I’ve ever had before. Like you keep eating even if your not hungry. Lol. Anyway I wish the best to the new owners but I will not be back.

The food was absolutely W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L, though there was far too much “Cracked Black Pepper” making it way too hot!!! Plus they have the BEST tasting fries. They are not heavy with oil but are crisp and the flavor is delicious. They sat us way in the back & I am handicapped. Having to dodge chairs that were pulled out.

Just looking you see a confusing sign but reading BBQ we stopped. Excellent smoked meats and sides. Clean and friendly atmosphere. We received our food timely and prepared correctly. Highly recommend for a BBQ stop

Excellent all around. They seem pricey but well worth it. The side salad was the best I’ve ever seen. Chicken fried sirloin filled the whole plate and wasn’t frozen 30 minutes before I got it like most places these days. Waitress made sure we were taken care of. I don’t remember her name but it’s the redhead with blue eyes

Tasty food– sausage, brisket, pulled pork were all delicious. The green Chilli though WOW just the right amount of spice. Fantastic on its own and even better on the open faced slopper burger. Good fries and lots of other great sounding side options. Will definitely go back to try some appetizers too.
