This is Absolutely the worst stuff, It doesn’t deserve to be called food, iv ever ordered. I wish I could give negative stars! Burgers came exactly as they look here. Not even close to done (red and bloody), all broken up and literally just cheese on them instead of what was ordered on them. Wings are over done and tough, fries were supposed to be garlic, parm, ranch and only a TON of garlic was on them. The biggest disappointment. Thanks for waisting my nursing lunch hour at work and no time to order elsewhere

I been going here for years and this year they changed the place tremendously! They definitely heard wishes from the past and I feel like they double their meat on the cheese steaks! They use fresh green peppers for it too! The place looks more open and you can see your food being cooked in front of your eyes! I say this place is good for a nice beer and philly, it’s a place you must go to!

I have faith in campus canteen. I order a cheese steak and it tasted good, but barely had any meat and cheese on it. The fries are excellent. My one friend got a fried chicken gyro and that looked awesome. Good drunk food, little over priced. Just really wished they put more meat on the cheese steak.

Well my friend and I scamper on down to canteen on a late Sunday evening for some chicken fingers. Needless to say it tasted worst than dog food. I would rather eat deep fried kibble bits. It was $10 for wet uncooked fries as well. I really do not understand how you can mess up chicken tenders that bad. Overall experience was terrible. Would recommend for a cold beer tho.

This place is awesome. It’s a one stop shop in Motown for any college needs! I personally have my go to items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, get the EVERYTHING BAGEL w/ bacon, eggs, cheese with hash brown. It’s banging and hey serve it all day. For lunch, I love the philly cheese steak which is the best in town, hand down. For dinner, i get the CANTEEN SPECIAL. It is amazing. The staff is helpful and friendly. It’s always a party when you walk in the doors of the canteen.

Went here for lunch and ordered a philly steak fries and mac and cheese bites. The amount of fries was a tiny not even handful of fries. The mac and cheese bites which were tiny little triangles and cost 4.99 were not that great and only got 4. I had to pay for them seperate because the cashier didn’t ring them up with my order at first if i had know what they would be i would have said forget it. Really they are defiantly not worth 1 dollar each. The philly steak came on a very generic sub bun and had cheddar cheese. I think of a white cheese like provolone when i get a philly not cheddar cheese. There was not alot of meat way more bread than anything else and altogether not a great meal or deal. I gave it a shot and will not be going again. This is probably popular as a drunk food spot but even that it’s expensive and there are better options on high street.
