Looking for a lunch spot after a walk in the Elfin Forest. Baywood is a little off the beaten path, but once you are here, you can quickly see the High Street deli is the place to be. Lunchtime on the weekend was busy, but we found a table. The menu had a lot of sandwich options or you can build your own. I ordered a turkey and avocado from the menu along with a large fries. The sandwich was huge so it is a good thing we ordered to share. The atmosphere was fun. The patio has a lot of fun signs and an old beetle van on the wall. Although they said 25-minute wait, it wasn’t nearly that long. The fries were hand cut and very crispy. They also have a lot of beers on tap and a hefty wine selection.

A long famous deli is San Luis Obispo, this additional location has tons of space and the line moves quickly! I almost want to keep it a secret… The best thing is that it’s the same excellent food – wins all around.

Such a great selection of sandwiches, beer/wine, and sides! while I was pregnant the cutlet sandwiches were a great option, although would be nice to have a grilled chicken instead of fried chicken option.

Was stoked to finally try High St after hearing rave reviews for years. It totally lived up to the hype, WOW. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, I got the beef dip and it was the perfect amount of spicy. Nice staff and nice little patio

Best burger (Bayweird) I’ve had in a long time! So tasty and cooked perfectly with all the right condiments and extras. Worth every calorie and then some! Fries were also excellent (hot and perfectly fried) and staff was outstanding. Super busy but food was hot and served in an acceptable time frame and at the same time for everyone in our party. Big plus – plenty of great beer options, too. Can’t wait to go back!

This location has an excellent seating arrangement, gray interior decorating, acute store, and amazing sandwiches! We got the Dutch crunch bread, which we highly recommend because it makes everything taste fantastic. We got the Dutch Punch, BLT, and turkey pesto. Would definitely recommend a Dutch Punch and BLT!

Why did we wait so long? High Street Deli is delicious and fun. Patio with heaters and indoor seating. Along with on Street and bike parking. Pricing appears pricy, initially, but I ended up taking half home. They weren’t average sandos. Both layered with yummy flavors. Hubby and I split a French Dip and Reuben. Although the French Dip was basic looking, it was very yummy. The Reuben came on Dutch Crunch and is not your mother’s Reuben. Quite fancy looking, and yummy with slaw. I ended up taking mine home for later. I’d eat either again, for sure! We enjoyed a beer, then headed to the Farmer’s Market. High Street Deli is a welcomed addition to our Monday Market trip for sure!
