The best burger I ever had!!!!! My husband got the pulled pork and it was perfect!! The sides of Cole slaw and macaroni salad were seasoned so well and cooked perfect. It was so worth the 45 min drive it takes us to get there. We can’t wait for next week so I can try the chicken and my husband wants the sausage. I don’t think we can wait that long!!? We might just be back tomorrow!!!!!

Absolutely amazing food. Ribs and the sauce on them are worth every penny spent and every mile it takes to get there. My wife loves the pulled pork and gets it every time. Good and fair portion sizes. Very nice people work there and the location in Northfield makes it a welcomed experience.

Absolutely phenomenal food and incredibly kind owners. My husband and I drive up from Hadley passing by multiple other BBQ places to get here. Everything on the menu is delicious plus BYOB is the cherry on top! Blows every other BBQ place we’ve tried in the area out of the water.

Outstanding! We stumbled upon Highland BBQ by chance while driving through Northfield. We ordered a smoked sausage sandwich and a blackened catfish sandwich. Both were VERY generous and extremely tasty! The side of homemade coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had…so flavorful. We’ll definitely return.

Unfortunately, I believe this needs to be mentioned. While the food was good I worry about the cleanliness of the restaurant. My tray had over 30 little mouse droppings under the paper. I have never felt more disgusted. The people working were kind, but I am concerned about their ability to properly run a kitchen and keep us safe from disease. Sadly I will not be returning.

Very friendly staff, and really, really good bbq. The ribs were very good, and they did a fantastic job on the side dishes. I wish I lived closer. This would definitely be a regular destination for me.

The sides are amazing! I am a vegetarian, but my sons are not. They rave about the meat and I rave about the sides. The combination of flavors and textures are outstanding in all the salsas and salads I’ve tried!

We came in on a rainy Saturday night and had the best smoked sausage and half chicken ever. Awesome byob… went to the country store up the street for some IPA. Owner said we were brave for sitting outside in the rain (at covered table) so he brought samples of pulled pork and smoked pork loin. Mmmmmmmmm.
