The lunch we had there was delicious. The dinner food was dry and not done well. The wings were sub par and so was the soft pretzel. They need better food. The facilities are nice, and the place seemed busy for dinner. They need to put some money into the golf course. That is real rough. The wraps were the only goos thing that we tried.

Had an early dinner there and it was pretty good. Service was attentive. We were seated and there was ice water waiting for us. Order was taken and appetizers were placed. We ordered the homemade chips and a plate of peal and eat shrimp. Shrimp were tasty and not too spicy. I have never seen them served in a broth with bread before but wasn’t disappointed. Food came out pretty fast and was presented well. I had the steak sandwich with bacon with chips. It tasted alright. Sort of dry. Needed horseradish or a an aujus sauce. The other dishes my tables ordered were the salmon and vegetable medley which tasted really good and the crab cake/seafood salad sandwich. From the kids menu we ordered the salmon and french fries that were seasoned really well. Prices were on the higher end. We did enjoy our meal but I would order something different next time.

A really great restaurant in south Hanover. The outdoor seating was amazing. The beer wall was cool and had some interesting options. The food was good and about the same price if not a buck or two higher (but not crazy) than other area restaurants. Our server Morgan was exceptional. I took the family and it was a great night. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere!! My fiance and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn’t have had a better experience! They opened 5 days prior to our visit, and they were already a well-oiled machine. Service was prompt; food came out quickly and tasted delicious! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Highland!

The Sunday brunch menu was extremely limited and expensive. $17 for 1 waffle!? It was good, but not $17 good! There was very little selection for vegetarians. My friend suggested this restaurant because she had Sunday lunch here previously, but they had a full menu. What happened?

The atmosphere and service are great here but I feel the food is overpriced. I was not impressed with the food that you got for the price paid. If I’m paying $20 to $30 for a steak it better be the best steak I’ve ever had.

I wanted so badly to love this place but it just wasn’t what we were expecting. I will say we were sat immediately for our reservation which was nice because sometimes you still have to wait a bit. Our waitress was very sweet but we barely saw her and at one point went around 30mins without seeing her. The appetizers were decent. Although the cheese that came with our giant pretzel was freezing. My dinner personally was mediocre. My husband got a side of the Brussels sprouts with his dinner and these things were burnt beyond burnt to the point you couldn’t even tell they were Brussel sprouts. I tried one and it just tasted like charcoal with bacon. I never understood why kitchens still send food out when something is noticeably burnt. My dads steak sandwich was very tough and had a lot of fat and gristle on it. For my dad not to finish something, it has to be pretty bad. All in all was it the worst food? Probably not but for the price we paid to eat there, it could have been 10x better

It’s OK. Tried this place twice and both times I felt that the place suffered from a lack of attention to detail and/or proper management. The food and the service were all just OK, that is about the best I can say about it. It’s kind of like being at a McDonalds in the respect that all the employees just seem like they are there to punch a clock and get a paycheck. The bar top was dirty. The bathroom was dirty with used paper towels on the floor. If you are there when they are having an event in the back room expect to have people parading though the restaurant the whole time for drinks and to use the bathroom because apparently there is no bathroom dedicated to the event room and the bar back there must be poorly stocked. And why are all the front row parking spots reserved for employees?

Food was a little expensive. Meatloaf was ok. Crab flat bread was really good. Cauliflower General tso was excellent. Sweet with a little spice. Waitress was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, prompt. Alcohol drink was good. Beer was good, but buying it was a nightmare. First it took forever to get bartender’s attention. Too busy talking with fellow bartenders and servers. Then rushed through process of explaining how to buy beer. Give credit card, get card for beer. Pick out beer from wall of taps. Pour beer yourself. Turn card in to pay for beer. Not one bartender or server could tell me about any of the beers. Nor recommend a beer. Poor hostess couldn’t keep track of who was waiting, their names or number in the party. After being open a year, this should be better. No excuses. I ran restaurants for 25 years. Outside patio is gorgeous.
