Awesome evening, stopped in for one beer ended up having chicken wings and more beer. We happen to be sitting next to the owner Dave and his food distributor Blake, They made us feel so welcome with conversation and many laughs. Cati our bartender was awesome. Jimmy the cook even made time to come out and meet us. The chicken wings were the best we’ve ever had. We are returning for dinner tonight. We live in Florida and on vacation, because of this establishment we definitely will return to the area.

Lilly was an amazing bartender and she is the reason why I ordered the tavern mac melt. It was amazing!! I’m definitely going back. The atmosphere was great… Everyone was really nice.

Well do in a pinch and that about it. Food is just ok they are short handed on the staff side, soda is way out of wack you either get flat soda or soda water. DO NOT ORDER THE Boneless wings it’s a chicken nuggets with way to much breading. Mac and cheese is like crafts

Extremely disappointing experience… we walked in the restaurant and there was smoke everywhere. Seems the kitchen fans were were not working. Service was pretty slow but waitress was friendly. Food was average. French fries and chips were old and/or stale. Will not be going back.

Was told to seat ourselves upon entering and chose a spot inside. There’s plenty of seating in two dining rooms, a bar, and an outdoor patio. Classic burger and mushroom Swiss burger were solid. Staff had good service and seemed to all be friends which is always nice. Small selection of draft beer, some local choices. We did not have a long wait for food and enjoyed our order.

This is a great little place. Lots of different food. For example I got a Blacken Mahi Sandwich, my daughter enchiladas, and my son a footlong like I have never seen before. All of the food is was good. It was dog and kid friendly on the patio and had a bar/grill kinda feel. And our waitress was awesome.

Party of 4 all ordered burgers. It took over an hour to get our food (diners that arrived after us got theirs before us) and when it did finally arrive they were overcooked and full of gristle and bone. Would not normally slam a place but when I expressed and showed that the burger was full of gristle. Our waiter simply said “OK” We took it as a “too bad” and figured it is not the first time he has heard it. Worst burgers any of us have ever had, so not recommend eating there. Many better places for burgers and similar food in Banner Elk.
