Hiker’s Kitchen is a food truck located at The Lazy Hiker Brewery. We are open 7 days per week starting at 11:00 AM and closing between 8 and 10 PM. We serve great food including burgers, hot dogs, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, gyros, salads, wings, fresh hand cut curly fries and more. You can come enjoy the brewery or just stop and pick up a great meal. We look forward to serving you!!

I can’t say enough about how delicious the food is here. I had the hiker burger and world famous french fries. Joe the owner was as pleasant and friendly as they come. If your in the area stop by for a bite, you won’t regret it. The lazy hiker brewery is on site and Joe will hand deliver your food to your table.

We enjoyed the food very much. The food quality is way above what you would expect from a food truck and the (only person on) staff is courteous and doing his best to help everyone. Sure, with only one person working the food may take a moment, but you are going to be sitting in a pub, you aren’t in a fast food joint! The short wait did not bother us at all and the food came right to our table where we were enjoying our beers. For the time we staid in the brewery we saw the gentleman working at the food truck hustle back and forth continuously with a genuine smile on his face. We definitely recommend the hand cut curly fries and the burgers (made with local beef).

Very nice place to sit and enjoy company and atmosphere, kids can play with other kids at corn hole. The food took a while because it’s a small truck and can’t serve too many people at a time.

Not the place to have a meal! Limited sitting and if they tell you it’ll be about 20 to 30 minutes for the food it means you’ll have to wait an hour for burgers and sandwiches. Food is average, same you get at any diner. Staff is not very friendly or even apologetic when you have to wait twice as long as they said you would. Again, if you’re here for the atmosphere, the beer, whatever other than the food.

Good Philly Steak, good curly fries. Paper towel to sopp up some of the grease wouldn’t hurt… Delicious though. They let doggys sit outside for the people who can’t be without their four legged children like myself.

So this is a food truck which is park next to the lazy hiker in Franklin. The food is delicious and fairly priced considering everything these days. You order at the window and then it will be brought to your table nice and hot. Oh and be sure to check the sandwich board for specials. And the menu is pretty decent as well. Okay little update for you guys. Baker kitchen has a new owner and chef. Come by check it out food is just as good if not better and we’re going to have some great daily specials. We also have award winning FF as well as an 8oz burger. That’s a half pound burger baby.

I got a philly no bun over fries and was disappointed. Zero flavor what so ever. How do you cook meat and peppers, onions and mushrooms and end up without ANY flavor? Even two packets of salt couldn’t save it. My husband got a burger and onion rings and was happy with the onion rings but also said his burger had no flavor outside of the bbq sauce on it.
