I drive trucks and found this restaurant on google , firstly let me say the inside was clean and vibrant smelled really good , the owner Hilda was there to greet us and thank our order which was also cool to experience, you can tell the food was home cooked and from scratch hands down the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve been to, as a Florida resident visiting Texas I was highly satisfied would come again and would 100% recommend worth every penny for authentic food

Food tasted like instant box type microwaved food. There was no flavor. Sides were skimpy. I feel as though the price wasn’t worth what you get. A cup of ice would’ve been a better option compared to the food. The only good thing is the employee was friendly. I don’t recommend eating here.

While in Ennis we stopped by for a bit at Hildas’s and surprisely we found the full menu was open so instead of breakfast food we both got selections off the dinner menu and it was good. We both love the hot sauce. It was perfect, favored. It was hot but it did last forever. Great service very attentive.

Service was terrible. It took 15 minutes to get menus and an hour to get our food. Even after all that time our dinners came out one at a time. One in our party never got the correct food.

I will keep it short. Food is great. The service ok. The speed of food is horrible. It was not that busy and we waited over 40 minutes from the we ordered until we got our food, I kept keeping track at 40 minutes. We watched a few people while we ate get sick of waiting for food and leave.

This is a wonderful gem hidden in plain sight. They serve breakfast and lunch only. The breakfast burritos are one of the very best I have EVER had! They have perfected making flour tortillas and I could sit and eat just them! If you are looking for a wonderful breakfast then look no further! Hilda’ takes the cake!

Came here four years ago when I lived in Ennis. Now I live here again, and this time, the food was bad. Overpriced for what we got. My friend asked for a sausage sandwich and was told they couldn’t do that, but they did charge everythin separate to make it for him, unfortunately, it sucked. Toast was burnt, they threw shredded cheese on two sausage patties and handed to him like that. My plate was too simple for $12. Chorizo wasn’t all that and the Lil servin of beans they gave me, came from a can. Overall this is a place where white folks think they’re gettin authentic Mexican food, but really it’s not and any Hispanic can tell that. But never again will return

Took forever to get the menu, but we didn’t mind as long as the food was good. Turns out the food is overprice went earlier today and got tacos and menudo. Tacos were cold and the menudo had a peculiar sour taste to it as if it was leftover from the day before and just reheated in the microwave. Will not be going back again any time soon.
