Friendly staff. But the breakfast was subpar and overpriced for what it is. Pancakes were greasy and overdone; toast barely toasted; grits were watery; waffle was soggy (paid $4 extra for fruit on it which consisted of 2 strawberry slices). Coffee was good though. Other reviews claim it’s good so maybe it was an off day.

Tasty dishes and excellent service is the norm but spacious seating in a relaxed atmosphere is what brings us back here often. It’s so nice to eat at your own pace and enjoy a good conversation. Our daughter, (Ms. critic of everything), enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. If you ask, they supply pure Maple syrup at no extra charge which is big for someone who grew up on bad syrup. It’s like eating at the family table without having to cook or clean (and someone just got back from Vermont!).
