Read good reviews online and it was midpoint for meeting a cousin for dinner. Interesting menu. Taco appetizer really different. Maybe more of the chip things and less chick Peas but huge. Pistachio salmon, scallops, steak. All delicious and perfectly prepared. No liquor served because they are near a church?! Lol. Beer and wine and I chose a chardonnay/pineapple/coconut drink that was delightful. Great wait staff. They kept the bread coming with butter that had a touch of honey. Very clean. Tables and booths well separated.

Hill City Grill is Oneonta’s gem. Food was outstanding and our server was the most polite young waitress I ever came across. My fiance and I walked in on a last minute choice and was able to sit at the bar. The Salmon melted in my mouth and my fiance had their beef tips special which he fell in love with. The place was beautiful and clean. I just would like the owner to know his or her staff are awesome and I heard they are opening another place and hope it’s just as good which I have know doubt. Great Job City Grill! Be back soon.

My wife and I have been to Hill City Grill at least 5 times at this point, and we have absolutely loved it every time we went. We eat out a lot, so we have a fair amount of experience with the whole food eating thing. The food is always amazing. The service is always fantastic. And the atmosphere is one of the best on main street. I probably cannot think of a better place to go for dinner in Oneonta.
