Overall, it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Super fast service. Cons include lots plastic flatware and Styrofoam. They charge a dollar for soda refills and a dollar to use a debit card.

This is a great little diner worth stopping by. The building is nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Best of all our food was delicious. Classic diner food the way it should be, fresh, big portions, and very flavorful. My wife got the Hillbilly BBLT with bologna, egg, bacon, lettuce and tomato and it was a flavor bomb! I got the philly and was not disappointed, lots of meat, grilled onions and cheeeeese. Also the bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of decorative donkey items in both the men’s and women’s restrooms which makes this place a 5 outta 5.

I love this place!!! It’s a thirty minute drive for me but so worth it. Inside is set up well with plenty of seating. Has a feel good patriotic atmosphere. The Hillbilly Hut has THE BEST breaded tenderloin sandwich of any place at the lake. Other places like Stewarts have good ones but this place is at the very top of the list. The tenderloin is the right thickness (thin), all good white meat, and the breading is amazing. The sandwich is a meal all by itself. My nephew is a picky eater and he gobbled up the chicken strips and fries he ordered from the kids menu. Another treat is they have soft serve ice cream. Quite the little gem out on hwy 54.

This is a great little diner is worth the stop. The building is nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Best of all our food was delicious. Classic diner food the way it should be, fresh, big portions. Had the pecan pie for dessert and it was AMAZING!! Owner stopped by our table to chat with us and was so appreciative that we stopped in. If you are any where near this place it’s a must stop!

I am a chocolate shake connoisseur. They have the best ever. The burgers, fries, chicken strips, and one of the best pasta salads I have ever tasted. (Don’t tell my Momma).

The food was ok here, the server was wonderful. We dined inside it was very chilly and we asked for the fans to be turned off. The manager refused, one lady even left went outside due to the temp. I would recommend this place for “to go” but be very careful with dine in.

Overall great! Small dine in area but clean and cool when temps were over 100! Tenderloin was perfectly breaded and stayed together… sometimes the breading separates and makes a mess. Food was fresh and hot!
