Maybe she was having a bad day, but the owner didn’t seem to want to be troubled with my business, so I saved her the hassle. I gave one extra star for location. I have rated pizza places all over the US and honestly I don’t think I have ever walked out of one without trying the food.

They use a hearth stone oven! Really good pizza that has a fluffy crust and nicely melted mozzarella cheese. The clam chowder is great too! Comes with garlic bread. If you’re more sensitive to salt like I am, it’s a tad bit salty. But about the same as other restaurants!

Great pizzas and great pies! Very fresh tasting. The pies are good size and not too sweet. Maybe better to order beforehand if you don’t want to wait for a long time. They had a list of soups that I really want to try! There are a few outside tables and chairs.

This is a local mom-and-pop gem. Solid wood-fired pizza and the best home-made soups in town that vary day by day. Not to mention the home-made pies that are fantastic and served with mouth-watering fresh whip cream. The owners are super friendly and know what they’re doing. Don’t miss this restaurant if you come visit!

One of the best clam chowder and chicken creole soup we had. Although short staffed, food and service exceeded our expectations. Can’t wait to come back to try the pizza and berry pies. Two thumbs up!

We were disappointed with both the pizza and the pie at Hillbottom Pie when we had dinner there on a recent visit to PT. The crust on the pizza was burnt. The pie filling on both the marionberry and blueberry pies wasn’t particularly good and the crust was hard and bland. The service wasn’t good or bad, just indifferent. We won’t be back.

The four of us came in and waited in line. Apparently those in front of us were just doing take out. We got to the front of the line to let the lady know we would like table when one opened. She said they were busy and we probably wouldn’t get a table or pizza for at least an hour. Not “I’m sorry or please come back again”. The most rude lady we have ever encountered in a restaurant. I don’t know how they stay in business.

The lady at the counter was not rude, but…. the pizza was just okay, but maybe the Northwest has a different style. Cesar salad was good. My nephew loves their food.
