We are a family-owned business with specialty in homemade and simple food. Our meats are fresh and steaks are hand cut. We make our own dressings to go along with our fresh salads and appetizers. Desserts are homemade and pair well with our 8 flavors of Mayfield ice cream. We also have waffle cones and small sugar cones for a sweet refresher in the summer heat.

Visited this restaurant this past weekend while staying on centerhill lake and had the taco burger. It was so good and the fries were great! The girl that works there is super sweet and I loved the music videos they were playing on the TVs lol. Great place! Would love to go back next time I’m in the area. 🙂

Quaint, family-owned and operated little restaurant. Friendly and personable waitress (the daughter) serving up delicious homemade food by the local cook (the dad). If you get bored, there’s a steady stream of music videos playing on the several wall-mounted televisions with a playlist of very eclectic musical taste. The restaurant has funny hours, but if you can catch it when they’re open, you won’t be disappointed.

Try the Tennessee Toothpicks. The photo I posted was after I lost control after the first bite. The ground hamburger plate was great. This has to be the best home cooked meal we have had since hitting the road 9 months ago. The only thing better than the food was the friendly staff. We will be back while we are staying at Ragland Bottom Staye Park.

I had a rough day, stopped in for what I hoped was a decent meal..but got an amazing meal and service… probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had in a restaurant…waitress kept my drink full, and I asked her to”choose a desert for me”..which was also, absolutely amazing

Ok.., we were camping nearby and looking for an evening meal…this place is out in the middle of no where!! As we walked in the first thing we noticed was how neat and tidy it looked, small dining area.., as we took a seat we both commented on how clean everything seemed. The young lady who helped us (can’t recall her name} was very friendly and took the effort to tell us about the menu and the history of the place….turned out she and her father own and run it…, used to be an old motel back in the day. Country fried steak was GREAT and smothered in gravy. Katherine had the lasagna and we split a side of shrimp and fries…, everything we had was great. We will return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal, friendly staff and abit of an ole school feeling. Strange days open though, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays only.
