Haven’t been here for a long time. The General Tso chicken was a bit different than what I am used to, flat, white meat instead of the round, crunchy dark meat. The sauce had a nice spice to it, but I don’t think I would order it again. However, my work partner thought it was really good, so it is a mixed review !!!

Customer Service is horrible since the original employee left she was really nice customer service was above average and she cared about to her customers. The two new ladies are very rude. Food doesn’t taste the same. I don’t care how your food taste if your customer service is bad you will lose customers

I love Hillside Kitchen! Ivy is always very friendly. The food tastes great. This is the only place I go to in Hillside. Love the chicken and broccoli and the boneless spare ribs.

Don’t let the outside facade fool you. What they lack in decor they more than make up for in flavor and quality. The woman that takes orders is friendly and answers all questions pertaining to menu and ingredients. They will also make food to your preference: I like my fried tofu extra crispy. I recommend the garlic sauce fried tofu as well as the General Tso tofu. Also the General Tso chicken and shrimp fried rice as well as the Singapore Mai Fun! The iced tea is cold and sweet, perfect on a hot summer day. And they deliver. This is our 3rd time here and we have referred so many people and all have been highly satisfied with their orders.

The food was GREAT!!! We just moved to NJ from Brooklyn and we couldn’t find a good Chinese spot. We kept trying the local restaurants but was always disappointed. One place we ordered from prepared our fried rice from parboiled rice… horrible! We kept searching and saw this place had great reviews. We ordered boneless spare ribs, pork fried rice, general tso chicken, and shrimp & broccoli. Everything was perfect! Super tasty and didn’t even add any soy sauce to my food. I think this place is better than our usual spots back in NY. The service is also great. The lady that took our order was super nice and quick. If you want good Chinese food this is your spot.
