We reserved a room to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary! Everything was great! A little hot in the room but they tried to correct that. The kids were able to play cornhole on the patio. Great day!

Excellent food and serves. Always a top spot in Athens. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food. Love it

Enjoyed mimosas and my husband enjoyed the bloody Mary’s. My daughter and I got fried shrimp which were excellent. My husband really like the crab cake Benedict. The prices are reasonable. The service was excellent. We look forward to going back.

Went with a party of more than 7, and apparently that’s the magic number that separates decent service and at least warm food. The menu looked good. Was charged 18% gratuity even though we were all paying for our own meal, which probably cost the server. I might go back separately from the group, …. and I might not!

I’ve always loved experience and food here. However, tonight was lacking. The food is great! Service was lacking. Staff is more interested in chit-chat with other staff or hiding in BOH. We had to ask another person for a dessert. This person found our waitress to bring the dessert. The waitress then waited an excessive time to bring to check, and then I had to take my payment to her at the hostess station where she spent time chit-chatting. Improvements are needed in the wait staff. I normally tip 20% always! I held back this on tip this time. It was more generous than Noel deserved.

We went on a Wednesday night around 5pm and it was pretty busy. There are entree specials ($4 off before 6pm, but not for seafood pasta and potentially others?) We ordered seafood pasta, a cup of gumbo, and fried shrimp. The pasta has very little seafood with light alfredo sauce. Gumbo is good! They provided a brownie for our birthday celebration- best part of the meal! Brownie was warm and gooey with pecans and ice cream, definitely worth a try. Service can get a little slow – we were there for 2 hours, but our waitress (Kim) was very sweet and enthusiastic!

Went on the advice of a local that loves the steak salad. Seriously a fabulous upscale mix of southern charm, comfort, & fine dining. Gumbo is to die for, filet perfect, green beans excellent, cheese grits delectable, 75 yr old recipe key lime pie delicious, staff spot on, waiter charming & knowledge, the host/owner(?) Pride in this place. Go here if you can!

As a UGA fan, Hilltop was a bucket list visit because the Sunday AM post game talk show originates there. My wife and I were seated for an early dinner with no wait, good table and friendly but efficient server. The menu was full for me but somewhat limited for my wife, who only eats fish and chicken. She had grilled salmon and veggies and it was fresh and well prepared. I ordered scallops and only then was informed that they didn’t have them on that particular night. Oddly, that was reassuring, because it told me they were committed to either fresh produce or no produce, no half stepping. I ordered pork chops, grilled sweet potatoes and collards and everything came out right the first time, and tasted and looked great. We had chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup drizzled on it for dessert, I had coffee and it all was HOT and strong, the way God meant it to be! Price was fair, service was friendly but professional and the experience was outstanding! Now I just have to get back for Sunday brunch, scallops and Red Mule Grits!

Our lunch was very good. Our sever was also good. He was on top of everything. We usually come here with a big party but eating as just a couple was so much nicer. The food tasted better and the atmosphere is airy.
