This place was incredible! The hilltop burger is amazing. The fries are a specific crisp, and the homemade ketchup assists with them melting in your mouth. We will definitely continue to come here every drive out this way.

We really wanted to love this place, but it was just, OK. We stopped in for date night. Upon arriving, there were a few folks and another couple. Cute, cozy and definitely the kind of ambiance we were looking for. Fireplace, candles, there’s a TV but it isn’t a loud distraction, some nice music. Service was friendly. The food was the only problem. We each ordered a margarita, tasty & strong. 2 pizzas, BBQ chicken & veggie. I got the chicken legs and some fries, the bf got a brisket sandwich and fries. The pizza was ok, nothing special. But both of us had really burnt fries. My chicken legs just were not appetizing, luke warm, with a dry rub, that was just,… too much and I dont know who likes cold, floppy chikn skin, but, not me. The bf said his sandwich was ok.

Great local place! They had a sign on the door apologizing in advance for being short staffed. You couldn’t even tell. Fantastic service and the food was delicious. My husband got the pork sandwich – homemade bbq sauce was amazing. Pork was definitely slow cooked really well. I got the hot honey pizza – also fantastic. Thanks for an awesome dinner!

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve eaten here but this is a great, off the beaten path, restaurant and bar, just NorthEast of Boise on Hwy 21. The soft pretzels, with house ground mustard, cheese sauce or marinara, are so good that my co-workers and I come often, just for the pretzels. They also have great burgers and specialty pizzas and soups. Nothing is deep fried here and even the French Fries are baked, which I appreciate. Wonderful home made desserts also. They have a great selection of beer on tap or in bottles, if you so desire. The wait staff is excellent and friendly. Hilltop Station is worth the short drive North East.

After a few hours of hiking mountains, we stopped in this place. Everything was amazing and the staff was wonderful. All the food was homemade, even the ketchup and mustard. The atmosphere is warm and comforting, and I loved the little lights in the bar. There is an outside porch with lights where you can eat and be surrounded by mountains.

Dinned here with my family members it was my step mother and my Birthday. The service was great our waitress was awesome. She brought us a delicious ice cream topped fresh Brownie with candles. It was spectacular also the sentiment for our Birthday was very touching. I’m new to the Boise area so I have to say it was a friendly reminder of how people can make you feel welcome and make you want to come to a place just cause the service was so beyond what is expected. Like I work in this industry so I am going say if you don’t give this gem of a place a try then you will miss the experience that will you thinking I’m glad stop there.

What a nice treat after a good hike nearby! They a nice ambiance and a welcoming atmosphere. Cozy space and a good choice on the menu for food and drinks. Burgers as well as the finger steaks were wonderful! Fries were tasty and filling!

Sweet staff, attentive without hovering. Ordered the pizza and it was out of this world! Crisp darked edges without being burned, fresh mozzarella (of course I ordered extra cheese). Nice surprise on my way to my adventures!
