First time trying out Hilo Hawaiian BBQ, and had a pleasant experience. The service was quick and the food was very tasty. We tried the chicken combo and the bbq combo, the food had so much flavor. The combos come with rice and a macaroni salad, was plenty of food for one person.

Really great dish. I ordered the chicken combo plate with extra macaroni salad. The meal took a little long to come out but I think they only had one cook. Leave yourself a extra couple of minutes. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Great little joint. Took the family here for dinner tonight. We got the BBQ chicken, pulled pork, & fried shrimp. Everything was delicious. Rice and macaroni salad come as sides. The Mac salad was awesome—super creamy. Chicken was moist and flavorful. The bbq sauce and teriyaki sauce were great. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for some Hawaiian BBQ.

Stopped off here on our way home after a bad experience at another restaurant. Figured we’d just take food home. Well, the kids and the wife are happy. The food was good, it was all fresh. Nothing fancy, just a Family Meal. The only issue- there will always be a 10-15 min wait for the food because they make it fresh. Not a complaint, just an observation.
