It’s definitely one of the best long standing restaurants in the Bay Area in terms of quality of their offerings. However I was a little disappointed in the price of the buffet. I remember in 2015 when the buffet used to cost $10 and today it costs $25 – while carrying the exact same number of items in the buffet – probably lesser even! Well the only relief is the food quality is still good as before. But they’d be awesome if they knock that price down a notch or add more items maybe? unlimited premium beer for instance?

Excellent food. They have the entire Indian subcontinent covered, from Momos / chow mein to cholle bhature, to dosas. Minus one star for lack of decorum in the restaurant, lots of random boxes and stains on the walls. Also a dirty rag smell in the restaurant.

Our family really enjoyed the buffet lunch this Saturday. We liked trying different things. Everything we tried was delicious. There was a large variety of dishes including vegetarian options. It was crowded and lively with background music. The plates were promptly picked up as we worked our way to try as much as could. We plan to return soon.

I have frequented the Himalayan Kitchen since their opening this year and I can’t say enough about them! The food is exceptionally delicious, each and every time. One dish seems more delicious than the next dish and the spices and flavors are addictive and will keep you coming back for more. The service is excellent and the owners and staff are all very friendly and efficient. I plan to be a regular at this terrific new restaurant and will bring my friends who so far are addicted too!

As a lone foreign traveller I was made welcome whilst I waited for my take out. I could have eaten in.. both times.. yes I came back! The food was great and reasonably priced. Turn around was quick, so I didn’t have much time to enjoy the complimentary chi-latte.

We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of a family friend who is from India. Friday night and at 9pm but there was a lot of customers seated and dining which was a good sign! We waited for around 5 minutes before being seated so they are pretty quick to bus the tables. My husband and I decided to order gobi Manchurian(fried battered cauliflower with a spice sauce), pepper shrimp, chicken chettinadu, fire naan, egg biryani, chicken momo, and mango lassi.

My mother and I went for the lunch buffet, which the currently (2023) have Fridays -Sundays. Both of us together spent $54+tip for the buffet, so it isn’t cheap.
