First time here. Just visiting from far away. I was skeptical because this is one of my favorite styles of food and did not know if this was going to authentic. I was surprised to discover how authentic this tasted. This was a tasty place.

I FINALLY found my go-to Indian restaurant!!! Ever since I moved from Garden Grove I’ve been looking for a great Indian restaurant around the Dana Point area and I’ve tried a few but they were all just “ok” and WAY overpriced. Everything here was top notch. Great portions and reasonably priced. My gf and I got lamb kabobs, lamb vindaloo, appetizer sampler and garlic naan bread. Everything was amazing. Naan bread was best I’ve had and they give you a whole basket for $4. Sampler was a great bargain. All the sauces were great. Lamb was perfect and a huge heapin bowl of perfect basmati rice. The place is very cozy and casual but nice, clean restrooms and very nice service. I will absolutely be coming back here over and over.

Stripmall Himalayan food. Came here on a Monday for lunch with my parents around 1pm and got a table immediately. Indoor dining only (no outdoor options). Plenty of parking available in the shared strip mall parking lot. We got an order of chicken momos (they come in 6 and do have a veggie option) which were super tasty. Split a mango lassi with my mom; it was on the smaller side but the lassi was thick and creamy. The butter chicken comes with rice and is rich. The tandoori chicken however was my favorite – it came sizzling hot and with plenty of flavor. Toss in an order of garlic naan (comes with 6 pieces) and you’ve got a great meal.

It’s very tasty. You will enjoy Indian food with reasonable quantities. . You can visit with family and it’s a reasonably big place to have a place. I was thinking about distance but once I had food then I was happy to be there.

We had vegetable coconut curry, butter chicken, chicken momo (dumplings), and garlic naan. Everything was complex, exotic, and wonderful. Curry ordered online as Spicy (level 3/4) was at the perfect heat level -intensely comforting. About $50 dinner for 2 (take out). Will be back to try more soon!

The tastes will blow your mind. A small little gem with phenomenal tastes. One of the best restaurants in California. They are small and always on point. I do not know how this restaurant is not busier than they are. I have eaten here 3-4 times in the last few months and it is always so excellent. If you are thinking about eating here make sure you do it.
