Tried this place 2 days ago with a friend. Host was rude. Waitress was rude, would barely keep eye contact as I spoke to her, kept cutting us off after asking us what we wanted to eat, and made it a point to aggressively lay our food and waters on the table then walk away without seeing if we needed anything else every time she came to our table, as if she didn’t want to be serving us. When we got the check and paid, we were still seated at the table gathering ourselves and I noticed the waitress glaring at us from across the restaurant as if she had a personal problem. Consider hiring a staff that is more welcoming and not extremely passive aggressive, and seemingly judgmental for no reason. Was probably one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant and I absolutely will not accept that as a paying customer. Food was decent. Will not be returning.

Food was excellent. Our party of 9 had teriyaki dishes and sushi. Bartender was rude and grumpy. Space is a little outdated and sounds bounces everywhere, so it was very loud.

The restraunt is kind of cool with pit tables but the actual food was so bland. Even the fried rice was burnt and we had to ask for another serving and even then it was so bland we questioned if it was actually fried rice. Even something as basic as the California roll is not worth the ridiculous pricing. This place is taking advantage of tourists.

Showed up a little before they opened up for dinner at 5:30pm. The entry boardwalk thing really helps set the mood for when you walk into the restaurant. Sat at the bar and was waited on by a man who made my dining experience fantastic – George (the bartender). Got to chit chat the afternoon away and enjoy some pretty darn good reasonably priced sushi! Tip: order yourself som hot Sake as it pairs really nicely with sushi.

Tasteless Tonkotsu Ramen noodle! Watery and badly cooked egg which is nowhere near what a Ramen noodle should be! Small portion of Delux Sashimi for a high price! We will never come back! This place gets high reviews perhaps because the people dont know what they are supposed to get!!!

My family came in hungry, ate some really great fish and left very satisfied. Come for their fish, very fresh and high quality. Had their sushi and sashimi and my older two boys had ikura nigiri and 3 rolls. We were also very impressed with how the sushi rice was prepared.
