Let me start by saying that I will return to this location and that i have been to the one in Humble a few times. I realize that they have only been open a few days. Hopefully it will improve. The counter staff was friendly, the digital menu is difficult to read. Our order arrived quickly. Overall the food was mediocre. I had to rebuild my burger as all the toppings were put on in a pile. The patty on both of our burgers was broken apart. While I was eating it pieces of the burger were falling out of the bun. That didn’t make for a very satisfying bite. It had good flavor but the burger was dry. I had to take my grandson to the restroom while we were there and as I started to walk down the hall I was choked up by the overwhelming sewer smell. I don’t know why that was but if that was coming from the kitchen they probably should not have opened until it was corrected

Burger was very flavorful There was ABSOLUTELY NO crunch and no taste to the highly rated Cajun fries, soggy and basically raw. I don’t go for the pink center on the burger, but to each his own. Check meat to bun ratio, one bun was giving, the other gave all it had. Lol Overall, 2.8. All chef errors. The struggle on the east side remains. I made an edit as my burger crumbled back into raw ground meat and added a photo. ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Came to the grand opening. Surprised at how flavorful and big the burgers were. Fries were fresh, crispy and delicious. I got the cheese burger and the hubby got the special burger. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

I got the Hippo BLT Burger with regular fries, and a 16 oz drink to go, cost right at $14. The fries were stellar. Tried one in the car, seasoned impeccably, crispy, and super fresh. Still good when I got back to my office. The burger was lacking. The meat was dry and flavorless, the only ‘juice’ came from the mayo and bacon. With a few tweaks it would have been a five star burger. I’d still give them another go, they had lots of other options (chicken, hot dogs, salads) that I’d be interested to try.

Food is very flavorful and plenty of it. Family ordered #2 burgers, cajun/regular fries, mozzarella sticks, spicy chicken sandwich, and oreo shake. Everyone agreed that it was very good. So glad to have one so close to home. With the variety of options, we will definitely be frequent customers.

Wow! We finally have a great burger place in the neighborhood ! My family and I absolutely love the burgers, and the customer service is spot on!! We’ve been to this location on Wallisville twice this week, and they make the freshest, tastiest burgers and fries. The fries are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They are seasoned so good too. My son got the Hippo Egovolution burger and it is now his favorite burger ever. I got a grilled chicken salad and it was absolutely delicious too. My daughters and husband got the child burger meal and the #2 and they also were very happy with their meals. If you want some dessert, they have ice cream shakes that are sweet and delicious . Lastly, the customer service…the guys here are so attentive, friendly, and give great service. I highly recommend anyone to check this place out, and you will get hooked too.
