What a fun surprise this gem of a spot was. I’ve tried around 8 different ramen places in Columbus since arriving early 2023, definitely have to say Hiro has been my favorite thus far. The food and experience was a great total package. You may go up to the counter to order, but you quickly learn that it’s a human-free service when you start scanning the QR code at the table you sit at. You order through a web portal and the order comes to you minutes later from an automated robot to your table. It was quite fascinating, especially not knowing anything about it. Our group ordered the Veggie Gyoza, Takoyaki, and Karaage, Curry Chicken Ramen and Curry Chicken Rice. There was nothing I can criticize, it was all so delicious. The curry broth in the ramen is excellent but I recommend adding at least a medium chili oil addition, elevates it so much. The noodles were the perfect springiness and flavor. Veggies were all fresh, bamboo shoots were very tender. The chicken was soy marinated I think, super tasty. Egg was very creamy and seasoned perfectly. Out the appetizers, the Takoyaki was my fav, really creamy and right amount of octopus meat, and exterior texture was amazing. I finished everything to the bottom of the bowl and couldn’t leave without trying a milk tea. Ordered the Ginger Milk and was a great way to cap everything off. You probably can go light sugar and still be very good, regular was a bit sweet for me. Really fun atmosphere and had a great time here, will definitely return to try more ramen !

This trip to Hiro, I decided to go through the drive-through. On the self ordering system, I got Taro Milk Tea, Pork Belly Buns, and Tonkotsu Ramen with Chicken. The staff was very friendly and the order was finished quickly. The food was amazing, per usual. The pork belly buns have to be one of the best things on the menu. I can’t wait to go back.

Nice atmosphere and a robot delivering the food to your table lol. Orders are done at your table with an online menu so if you’re the type to think for a while before ordering food, you won’t have to worry about people queuing up behind you.

This is a very fun Ramen restaurant and kids would love it as much as older geeks. You order at your table by scanning a QR code. Food is delivered very quickly by a polite robot. You bus your own dishes when you are done. The music was a little too loud so I couldn’t really hear the robot. The broth was fantastic. The pork belly loaded fries are very very good. Some people thought the egg was too done, but I preferred the yolk more cooked just as it was.
