Customer Service was lacking.. Teriyaki Salmon was too salty. White rice was delicious but veggies too salty. When they refill your drink they take cup and straw and bring back. Where did my cup go did my straw ever touch anything else? Weird just bring a new drink and cup. Salad was not great and soup was delicious. It was late and employee seemed life less. Not what I expected.

Food was alright (the ramen wasn’t super authentic) but it was yummy nonetheless and satisfied our Japanese food cravings anyway. The grilled chicken that comes in the ramen is pretty good too.

Edit: Yesterday’s visit was disappointing and disturbing. Ordered sashimi deluxe and nigiri deluxe and it was definitely not fresh. The meat was warm, salty, and borderline rancid. Hiro’s is hiring, but even low staffed the service was quick. Including chip chop connectors (chopsticks) was a big hit with my kids and they liked pretty much everything. My son was extra adventurous with the bento box presentation. Only gripe, I like when hot tea comes out in a teapot for group.

Reasonable prices and fresh sushi! We found this place by recommendation from our Airbnb owner, who has lived in Flagstaff for 30+ years. Nothing too fancy about the atmosphere. We thought the seaweed tasted kind of fishy, but everything tasted a little different from our local spots in Ohio!

We had lunch here for a stopover in our 8 hrs drive home, the food is fantastic. We had 2 of the bento box for lunch and the serving is generous. The service is fine and there is more improvement but I understand it. I am willing to wait for a nice well taken care delicious food and these people made our food very good. We will back again for a stopover! Oh wait, their takoyaki is freshly made, reminds me of what i had when i was stationed in Japan.

Granddaughter and I stopped for sushi before going to the movies. She had a California roll and ate it all! I had spicy salmon and YUM! They do have FRESH Wasabi, which I really appreciate. Soooooo much better than the green horseradish one usually gets!

Ate there twice. They seem overwhelmed by their success. First night pleasant but mediocre chirashi bowl and rolls. Second night great beef and ok sushi, but the waiter was rude to the point of it almost being funny. (He was awful to other tables too, so it wasn’t just us) My kid was ill the next day, but it might have been norovirus.
