We were going to do a very popular chain burger place and instead we decided to look for a local spot instead. So glad we came across this place. Very clean. The customer service was wonderful. I am not sure if the one attending was one of the owners but I think she was. Regardless, she was SO kind and now in days that’s rare. We got burgers and fries a side of onion rings, got tenders and milkshakes. Burgers are delicious, if I was a local this would be my spot for burgers! The tenders were really good, I think they could use a tad more seasoning but otherwise it was cooked perfectly. I liked the onion rings my husband didn’t, so I guess it’s based on the style onion rings you like. Milkshakes were good we got all 3 flavors, vanilla bean, chocolate and, strawberry. My favorite was strawberry. Prices are consistent with other spots offering similar products. But at least here you are supporting a local business and ingredients are fresh and good quality.

It was fast and onion rings were very delicious. But I’m not sure why my fried chicken & chicken burger look so different than others… Crispiness was one issue. I think they may also poured too much seasonings on top by accident. It was so extreme, I even thought they were sandy. I literally couldn’t eat them. It was busy lunch time, so maybe I’ll try again later…

The onion rings here are amazing! These ones are crispy perfection! Thin and crunchy! I also got the chicken sandwich and it was fresh, well seasoned and perfectly cooked.

The food here is very 50s diner. Think Dairy Queen: big soft burgers with traditional toppings in a plain bun, few menu choices, just simple. It’s not my favorite style, but I know some love it. Prices seem slightly high for what it is. Absolutely clean and serviceable tables.

This place never disappoints. Quality of food is important these days with others trying to cut corners and cheap out. Hit the Spot still delivers quality. If you want good food pay the price, if you want to still spend a chunk of money and get trashy food then go to other fast food burger joints and not get the level of quality you will get EVERY time at Hit the Spot.
