Great neighborhood place with reasonable prices and interesting people. Any place that has Van Halen playing for me gets 5 stars, actually, but they have “freedom fries,” and if you want you can have gorgonzola cheese sauce on top. Nice patio too.

It was my first time at HKs and I really wasn’t impressed, the service wasn’t great and the server was not attentive at all. The food wasn’t what I was hoping for, just poor quality and it probably wouldn’t have been that bad if it at least came out hot. I most likely won’t return.

Stopped by for dinner after visiting the Upland Art Walk. Plane was crowded and setting up for a band as we were leaving. Had the most amazing appetizer- Brie with fruit wish I had taken a picture. Looked and tasted delicious. Highly recommend. The dinner was average, French dip, patty melt & fish tacos and spicy Bloody Mary. We’re will come back for appetizers again.

Servers are undertrained to the highest extent. Waitress had an attitude with my group from the very first second she got to our table. She split checks & added extras to our receipt without our consent. They called the cops on my group because she made an error on our receipt and we refused to pay for it (and we sureeee didn’t). Fun fact: Owner tries to hit on servers/bartenders (I know because I’m dating one and she tells me everything).

Went there to watch some football and our server pretty much ignored us for most of the game. She would not check on us and when e wanted to order something else or get more drinks we had to track her down and place the order. Eventually we had to go to the bar and start a new tab so e can get some drinks… had to do that for 2 rounds of drinks before or server stated paying attention to us again. Plans was not that busy and they were staffed… good was ok… not bad, but nothing to rave about. We don’t plan on going back
