Ho Ming is my Dad favorite spot. Whenever I come home to visit I make a Ming run. It’s a guilty pleasure because of all of his meds. Lmao. That’s is life now. I have been eating here for years!!!!

I am a NYer living in Seattle and longing for Ho Ming’s Chinese food. Chinese food here is just not good in comparison to the East Coast. It is greasy, bland, and crazy expensive. I have yet to find a place where you can get a pint of this and a quart of that, so typical of the East Coast. So every time I come home to Long Island I constantly eat here at Ho Ming and inevitably bring some food back to Seattle. The food here is excellent fresh and so tasty. Their shrimp eggrolls are especially outstanding! I’ve never had a bad dish. With the pandemic I’ve had their shrimp eggrolls shipped out here. Pearl and her family could not be nicer! A new batch just arrived on Wednesday, September 22! I baked them in the oven and they are sooo delicious- light, crisp, and not greasy! Thank you, Pearl, Jimmy, and family! You made this Long Island girl very happy!!

Small and independently owned, their food is always delicious and hot with attention to requests for changes.

My family has been ordering from Ho Ming for many years and I can’t believe it took me this long to write something. Of the many chinese take-out spots I’ve tried in the area, Ho Ming has always had the most consistently best tasting food. My favorites are the chicken & broccoli and the roast pork lo mein, which I order almost every week. The family that runs and also works at this restaurant are such lovely, kind people and for that I’m always glad to support their business

The food was out of this world. The ribs fell off the bone. The only flaw was our steamed dumplings and lack of noodles for the soup. But everything else was excellent.

Ordered food for pick up and it was ready when they said it would be. I was told the total for my order, handed over my credit card and received a receipt to sign. On the receipt the restaurant secretly added a “convenience fee” of almost $2. I questioned what this fee was about and someone pointed to a small, faded 3×4 sticker that was illegible. I expressed my disagreement with this credit card upcharge but to deaf ears.
