I second all the negative reviews here. We decided to try Ho Ting, and what a letdown. They said the order would take 30 minutes, but I waited an extra 20 minutes for it to be prepared. They claimed their kitchen was really backed up, but I did not see many people dining in, nor many other takeout orders. When I got home with the order, I realized they had forgot something so I had to go back to the restaurant. No, sorry, no service recovery. He did say he tried to call me, at which point I replied that I’d try to pick up any hung up on me. I also noted two other people had to return for something that was missing in their orders, and they also claimed they were waiting longer than me. That’s the service end of it. The food was a disappointment, things were naturally soggy by the time we got home, but most things were burnt or over cooked, or not as described at all on their menu. Even if they tried service recovery tactics to give me money for a return visit I wouldn’t waste my time.

I’ve been searching for EVER in the surrounding twin cities area for the best general tso tofu… they know exactly how to prepare their tofu and seem they have a lot of experience with it. It’s extremely crispy and the best consistency. The owners are so friendly that I came 3x in one week their cream cheese wontons are also to die for. Ordered a fried chicken dish and it was inedible. The chicken was dry, tough, and weirdly fibrous, it just wouldn’t break down no matter how long you’d chew. Aside from that the fried rice was bland, and the chicken dish which wasn’t described as in a sweet sauce was sweeter than anything you’d find at the nation panda chain. I don’t recommend.

Could’ve been better. This was a pickup Order $50 worth of food everything else was just fine! These however.. not the best.. they actually gave me my money back for the egg rolls. We couldn’t even eat them the smell alone was overwhelming. First time trying them … probably just gonna stick to crystal jade.

This place used to be great but my first impression of the new owners is not good. I got there chicken fried rice and it was not good. I was like taking small cubes of really dry chicken, normal white rice and mixing it together. No seasoning, definitely no soy sauce and very little egg in the fried rice. I’m very disappointed with the change in the food quality.
