Did it again, gobbling food before taking photos! It was too good to wait! Sampler had nice assortment of treats. Bratwurst always a winner, schnitzel sandwich and spaetzle too much to finish. Outdoor space beautiful. Definitely a great choice for our meal in Kentucky. Even the music and atmosphere reminds me of family.

Our time here was so great! We were immediately greeted and sat! I have never been to a German restaurant before and I enjoyed the culture! There was live music with audience participation! The food was delicious and I loved looking at the decor in the restaurant. We ordered the large pretzel as our appetizer, and I have uploaded pictures of our entrées. 10/10!

Unique atmosphere! Incredible German food and music. Always great service, too! My daughter had the Wurst plate, my husband loved the Munich sampler and I enjoyed the market salad. Loved the pretzels and bier cheese too!

It’s our first time here. We arrived just after 1pm on a Saturday, the place was pretty packed, thankfully the wait was minimal. Parking costs $5 which is a bit annoying. We ordered two items under the specialties menu, the Munich sampler and the Pork Shank, as well as pretzels as appetizer. Being unfamiliar with German food in general, we’d like to try as many kinds as possible. All tasted great! The portions were large but not “too” large, although it did feed all three of us. This lunch did cost more than our typical dinings.

We watched Bengals at the restaurant during COVID, and stopped by to eat for Reds last year. This time, not so hungry but had 4 (not 3 as shown) pretzels with cheese dip, my friend had Reuben Balls. I also had Black Forest cake for late lunch before the game.

We had lunch at the Hofbrauhaus today for the first time. Being that we are both from different states (Michigan and Tennessee), we thought it was weird that we had to pay $5 to park to eat at the restaurant. We sat out in the biergarten and waited for a very long time for service. If I hate anything, I hate watching a big party of people come in after us and get served before us – even though we waited longer. Finally, I asked a busboy who our server was and he said back, “Who is your server?” I said that is what I’m asking you. Finally, Emma came and greeted us although she wasn’t quick. We ordered pretzels and cheese, a ham and cheese sandwich and a fish sandwich. The order came to a little over $51. This seemed a bit steep. The food was hot, I liked the dish and the rye bread but the fries and slaw was nothing to write home about. I liked the cheese that came with the pretzel , but the best thing was the rye bread that came with my fish sandwich. Our Drinks were $3.25 a piece for a Diet Coke and ice tea. Inside the restaurant, a tuba quartet were playing and that was sort of cool. The restaurant had a small gift shop. I suspect Octoberfest is a blast at this restaurant. I’d came back for a pint, but I would eat elsewhere at another restaurant in the area.

Atmosphere was great. Food was okay. Service was almost none may be because it was too busy on a Saturday noon.

Went for a late lunch today…we both decided to try the fish sandwich w/coleslaw & fries – absolutely delicious!! This was the crispiest, best tasting fish I have enjoyed in years!!! Then the dessert….I admit I’m a bit sorry I offered to split it, cause I ended up wishing I had it all to myself! Wonderful from start to finish, great atmosphere, awesome service!
