Hog Pit BBQ operates out of a food stall inside the Bus Barn food hall with other food and beverage establishments. The Bus Barn overlooks City Center Park and playground (with a splashpad). I was able to go to this place for lunch during work hours so no alcohol for me. It’s located right next to a brewery in what looks to be a very happening atmosphere. I can imagine the scenery being a lot different at night. Overall a great place to go for good food and fun. The restaurant is very nice and clean and it’s contact free. You order through a kiosk near the restaurants inside window and they text you when your food is ready. You have to try the burnt end baked beans.

Loved the light and crispy hushpuppies and the fried catfish was great. Enjoyed the banana pepper tartar sauce, ordered additional sauces of Alabama and hot sauce, glad I did. Definitely recommend the greens and Cuban sandwich as well. Great food, service, beer, and atmosphere, will certainly back.

My husband and I had a such a great first experience at the HogPit BBQ! We had multiple people ask us how we were doing and offered to answer any questions we had. The young lady at the window was extremely helpful and we were treated like family. Their menu has a variety of choices, and salads for people who don’t eat meat! I got their strawberry and goat cheese salad and it was so delicious I almost got another one! My husband got the brisket plate with the mac n cheese and brunswick stew as his sides. He cleaned his plate everything was so delicious! It’s very hard for my husband and I to find good brisket around here but it’s safe to say that HogPit BBQ is added on our list of good eats! We can’t wait to come back again:))

5 Stars for great Service & Cleanliness. Breading on Fried Green Tomatoes was heavenly. The prices are fair and I just felt good in the atmosphere. The place is hard to find. Had to call to find them. Need more signs out. It was Night. The pork taco was spicy but delicious-rather small. I like that my rib plate had good sauces and pickles. The bread was kinda basic and the ribs didn’t have the smoke flavor but it was done fair for an inside place. Tad bit more fry rub to save the day. I’d come back to this hidden gem and drink a couple beers from the brewery get tipsy & listen to a lil music on the lawn

The young lady taking my order was unknowledgeable and disrespectful. Didn’t know the difference between a sandwich and a plate. The owner had a hard time taking criticism and came out and told me never to eat there again versus listening to what the issue may be a real Napoleon complex. For barbecue in the south. This is below average.

Fun atmosphere with places for all ages to explore. Kiosk style ordering and you just grab a seat. The main dining area opens up to a bar and another sit down area, which is open to the outside. The snacks we ordered were just okay. Will come back to try the bbq.

Was looking for some pulled chicken, I did a Google search and this place came up near my house. Went with the 2 meat plate and the “pulled” chicken was actually chunks of chicken which was cold by the time I got home less than 3 miles away. Didn’t like the cole slaw and the catfish was ok, but overall the taste was mediocre. Was really looking forward to this restaurant since it’s close to my house, but sad to say I won’t be going back. I’m from TX and still on the hunt for some good BBQ. However, I do wish them luck with their business.

Had the 2 meat meal, pulled pork and pulled chicken. 1 side came with the meal and we chose burnt tip baked beans and and had to add an additional side to try the slaw. Over all very pleased with the location, service, and food. I will be back for more and right next door LineCreek brewery looked amazing. BBQ and beer starting next week!
