Great food. We hesitated a little when we first pulled into the parking lot with hardly anyone there, but it turns out not too many people know about this gem. Great appetizers and meals. Will be our new must go to in OCMD for years to come.

We loved the brisket empanada appetizer. Seemed shorthanded, or the waitstaff was just slow. They took our order, waited a while for our appetizer and within 5 min we received our entree. We had to wait for our check because the waitress wasn’t available. Would give them another try.

Smoked wings were juicy and delicious, the pulled pork tacoswl were stuffed with meat! Could use a little more slaw but that’s personal preference. Waiter was friendly and attenteative. Food was nicely paced.

Atmosphere was great! Hush puppies were fried a little too long, but weren’t bad. Fried mahi was decent but looked better than it tasted. Loaded baked potato soup was excellent. Brisket grilled cheese was disappointing. Rice was undercooked and hard. Overall the experience wasn’t too bad. The server seemed new. He dropped off the food, and we didn’t see him again until it was time for the bill.

A request to try some BBQ from our group came to us, so we decided to stop in 🙂 No wait and a live singer that was very entertaining. Our waitress was on top of things even while training a new staff member with her. Very helpful, as we all had questions about the menu. We did end up with a “From the Smoker” – with your choice of two sides-, Brisket Tacos, both soups, and an order of chips, pico, and guac. Both soups were very good and savory. We never pass up good soup. The chips were not overly salty, though the guac didn’t have much onion in it. However, the pico was a great compliment to the guac so there was no need to over power with more onion. We ran out of chips before we ate all of the sides, but we requested to save them to use with the tacos just in case. ( We will come back to this great idea.)

Our first trip here. Being in west ocean city helps keep the crowd down. We were able to make a reservation for 8 and 7:00. Food was GREAT! Portions were huge, and the prices were more fair.

So so glad me and my husband stopped here for dinner. Everyone we came in contact with, were very nice! The food was delicious and is delicious even now as I eat my leftovers while writing this. I got the brisket grilled cheese so much flavor and perfectly cheesy. The sweet potato fries are honestly the best I’ve ever had. Definitely stop in, you won’t regret it!

I’d love to give you a review of the food but we never got it. The restaurant was not busy and after waiting over an hour we decided to leave. The manager was super nice and brought us our sides and said the food would be right out. (10 minutes after asking the hostess to check on our food) The Mac and cheese was cold, not even warm and the wings had been sitting in the window. Our server had still not come to check on us or apologize for not putting our food, which the manager alluded to.

Our server, Ian, was very attentive and nice. He stopped by frequently to check on us and ask how things were. Atmosphere was pretty relaxed and we enjoyed dining in the patio with the nice weather. Inside seemed a bit dark but otherwise clean and comfort. Food was delicious! We got crab cake sandwich, ribs, and brisket tacos and all enjoyed. Sides were good too, especially the steak fries and sweet potato fries. In a town full of mediocre bar restaurants catering to tourists, i was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service here and would definitely return here again!
