Just got into Pittsburgh. Looked up places and decided on Hogshead for lunch. What a great choice! Roads a little curvy getting here but worth the efforts. Amy our server was above excellent. Food was great. Smoked pork was just about perfect. Pizza crisp and delicious. Beer reasonable and cold will definitely be back.

Hog’s Head Bar and Grille is a hidden gem! I love the down home atmosphere. The staff are amazing! Friendly and hard workers! Prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious! The restaurant was clean and cozy.

Food is amazing and all scratch made. The best calzone I ever had. Service is always great and friendly to boot. Interesting place with a lot of regulars but mostly welcome to transplants/outsiders. Hard not to strike up a conversation here. Beer selection and daily specials are good.

Found this gem on a whim and it was our favorite place to eat in all of Pittsburgh! Our waitress was so incredibly sweet and the food was delicious. If you’re in Pittsburgh and want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city do yourself a favor and stop here. It’s only 10-15 minutes from downtown!

One of the best bar/restaurants in the North! Hogs head has amazing food, a big menu, strong drinks, great bartenders and waiters and its a family friendly atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places to go. They have a nice outdoor area in the summer, and a pool table upstairs. They have all of the lottery you could want and great food prices, even better specials. I have never had a bad thing here and I have eaten most of the menu.

I don’t know what it is, if they changed ownership of what but from before Covid to after Covid the quality of food has changed big time. It’s either hit or miss but when it’s a miss it’s bad. Place was always spot on everytime before Covid.
