Lunch was delicious. Great atmosphere. We were the only people dining in on a Sunday. Had the beer-battered fish “catch of the day” tacos – delicious. Boyfriend had the steak quesadillas. For appetizer, we did the ceviche. A little sweet but very very fresh. Some advice, the bottled still water is $5 per single-serving bottle, imported from Tuscany. I wish we had opted for the tap water. Thanks!

I had the chance to visit Hoja Taqueria on the weekend. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious. The Queso Fundido and the fish tacos were my absolute favorite dishes. Also, the guacamole tastes very authentic. I have Mexican roots, and I know what authentic Mexican food tastes like.

Very nice and quaint setting; service was efficient although a little bit cold; the coffee was very mediocre; the taco was nutritious and filling but not authentic. (I spent 4.5 years in Mexico City as a student of its prominent UNAM).

First time here and was very impressed! Vibes were immaculate. Host & servers were kind and bartender was killin it. Food was excellent- the Mexican corn was unreal! Drink menu was unique and tasty. Great for solo travelers, couples, (and less than 6) friends. Not family friendly so do takeout or ditch the kids! Highly recommend & will be back!

Went for happy hr and stayed for a round and a few of the happy hr tacos. The wait staff was attentive, the decor/vibe were chill. I had a mushroom and a sweet potato taco, both were yummy and the perfect little lite bite.

Ate lunch here on a rainy windy day in April – it was just what we needed. Cozy fun atmosphere, great drinks and delicious food. Pictured are the fish tacos (top shelf! crispy super fresh fish, hot and spicy), sweet potato tacos (pretty good), and carne asada quesadillas. Located in the Generator Hotel/Hostel. We would defintely return here!

This is one of the few places to eat in this area. The decor is well done and is fun. It is small place that has a feel of a bar. There have only beers in cans and they don’t serve a glass unless you ask. We ordered tacos which for two tacos and a handful of chips was quite pricey. The chips were really good, the tacos not so much. Lacked flavor or spice of any kind. The tiny amount of salsa was disappointing.

Their breakfast burrito is muy delicioso. All other restaurants in the area are ridiculously expensive, but this place is reasonably priced for great quality food.

Tacos were a little too trendy and small. Came for Miami Spice, but was glad it was happy hour and my bartender suggested just getting 2 tacos for $10 instead of the 3 courses. Glad I didn’t waste money on more food here. A “Michelin recommendation is just hype here for a small, overcrowded hotel lobby space and touristy tacos. It is Miami Beach after all. One of the great treasures of Miami is street tacos, and there are plenty worthy of a Michelin recommendation. I would not go out of my way for this one again.
