We love this place! All the food is great, great customer service, always clean, family owned, and good price point for the quality. We come regularly with our family. There’s something for everyone whether you are a sushi lover or trying it for the first time. There are plenty of non-sushi options and FULLY COOKED sushi options as well that are amazing! If you haven’t tried, then you are missing out!

Nice little place, service is good, but their is no thought in the presentation of the sushi. Its an important part of the experience of going out to have Sushi. Imagine picking up some sushi from Publix, taking it out of the plastic container and putting it on a white plate. Basically how it’s presented. The Bento box lunch meals are very good.

Hokkaido is truly a Lithia GEM! In a world where mediocre/average food is prevalent, and no one seems to care to strive for excellence, there’s Hokkaido exactly what a restaurant should endeavor to be. The food is fresh, and let’s be honest that’s MEGA important when we’re talking about sushi and such. The food is not only fresh but is artfully and skillfully prepared- they don’t just want your money, they want you to ENJOY your dining experience and dinner, you’re not just a faceless customer, they want YOU to come back. That’s small business for you folks. People who care, because caring is everything- caring can make or break you, and Hokkaido CARES. They CARE about the freshness, they care about quality, they care about the dining experience, they care about YOU the customer. I’m blathering on and on because it’s just so rare these days to find truly delicious food AND outstanding customer service and I’m just so thankful to have such a wonderful addition, local to us FishHawk folks.

Best teriyaki steak I have ever had. They actually asked how I would like it cooked (medium rare of course) and with some well made fried rice and miso soup AND salad with that delicious ginger dressing on.

So i tried this place for the first time.i was not impressed. The service was good. Very polite and rather quick. The part i get upset about is the cost vs product. This is probably the smallest sushi i have ever received at that high of a price. I understand businesses are struggling lately but seriously i paid fifty dollars for twenty five dollars worth. I m not the type to complain about much but over priced food really grinds my gears when we are trying to support local businesses in these rough times.

Prefer authentic made sushi. It didn’t taste good and it’s expensive for what they offer. If you ever tried japanese made sushi, you will agree with me. I don’t recommend it. I am not going back.
