I do not recommend this restaurant .bad experience. The food is not cheap. Portions are very small. If the portion is small, it is more appropriate to put it in a small pot. My eggplant was half the size of the bowl. There are more than 10 thin slices of my pork. A bowl of beef $17 half bean sprouts. only big is Enough lettuce. not worth it. service not very well. Never ask .

Went with a group for an impromptu dinner. We didn’t get to do the Japanese Habachi dinner, but instead sat in the regular dinning area. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken as I’m not a sushi fan, and it seemed a lot of the menu catered around that. My friends who got the sushi said it was delicious. My chicken was good, and filling, but wasn’t too memorable for its taste. I also ordered some Dim Sum—BBQ Pork. That was a favorite of mine. Alcoholic beverages were reasonably priced, but I’m from California where speciality drinks are typically $10+, they were $7+ here. So that may be a little subjective.

The place was huge and also has Tapenyaki. The service and staff were good and polite. But I was disappointed with food. We got 1. Hot and sour soup (3.5/5) 2. Thai chicken satay (3.5/5) The chicken needs to cook a bit more and lacked flavor a bit. 3. Phad Thai (3/5) which was not good at all. It was more liquidy and had too much sauce in it. They have a huge menu I guess which was a bit of a down side. The items I ordered were a disappointment.

My first time here, and what a wonderful place, great servers and good atmosphere! I got a Mandarin Sunrise cocktail and a pick 3 Sushi lunch special, from left to right in picture, Scorpion Roll, Boston Roll, and Eel Cucumber Roll.

Overall a super fun experience! My steak was a little too well done, but other than that everything was great. The staff interact with you and you get to watch your food being made.

One of our favorite sushi places in Peoria for both dine-in and takeout. Their signature and regular maki rolls are very good. Some of our favorite sushi dishes include the Hokkaido roll, shrimp tempura roll, Las Vegas roll, and sake (salmon nigiri). We also tried the sirloin steak hibachi and it was delicious! However, we did feel the fried rice was a little too salty. The house salad and miso soup are always great.

If you happen to get noodles make them put yumyum sauce in your noodle. I learned 3 years ago that they are not Japanese only 1 of them was Japanese. Unfortunately he left them 2 years ago but he always put yumyum sauce in the noodle while cooking and they were 1000 times better. Since he has left I no longer go there twice a month I now only go once a year. I trust the Japanese cooking over the Chinese cooking any day. It’s a gamble with your cook putting on the actual show too ♀️.

The service and food are amazing. I went with a group of five people and they managed and met our needs well. Dining and hibachi grill are very kid friendly but the Korean BBQ might not be the best for very young children due to open hot surfaces. Great for date nights!

Hibachi style restaurant, but we chose dining room. In my experience hibachi takes awhile to get orders, fill the table and the chef to get prepped. We were hungry and wanted to eat quicker. Sadly, it took a long time for our server to come take our orders. We ordered lettuce wraps with tofu. It was tasty and a lot on the plate for 2 people. One of us ordered pad thai with tofu amd the other ordered tempura vegetables dinner bento box. Bento box came with miso soup and salad as well. The food was good, but more vegetables in the pad thai would have been nice…and not cold bean sprouts on the side as it was served with. The bento box would have been better if had more tempura vegetables. We enjoyed the California roll served with the bento box, but the soy sauce was cold like it came out of a refrigerator which was not enjoyable. Service was slow until it was time to pay. Then a gentleman, who was either the owner or manager, kept circling us. It was typical food you would expect, nothing exceptional. We will not be back.
