You can tell from my photos that I have been here for brunch, because almost non-arepa item is only available during brunch. Hola Arepa offers small plates for dinner on top of their Venezuelan-style arepas, which is great, but personally I think their highlight is their weekend brunch. Of course, if you are going for arepas, then dinner or brunch doesn’t make quite a difference, but I can confidently say that every brunch plate so far has been a hit. I recommend this brunch spot for anyone in town and for friends from out of town.

Amazing food and atmosphere – every different arepa I have tried has been so good! A lot of vegetarian and vegan options, and most of the menu is gluten free. I would recommend making a reservation if you can since wait times can be long. Great place to bring friends and family!

This was my second visit to Hola Arepa and I had a great experience both times! Parking is tough, so if you see street parking, grab it. They have a regular dining room, covered patio and uncovered patio that are always packed. We started with chips and salsa and the server explained the spice levels, which was perfect for my spice-sensitive family members. Their drink menu is very inventive and we were googling ingredients to figure out what was in them. Some are a bit ice-heavy, so it might be worth asking them to go easy on the ice so you have more than a few sips of drink (looking at you, sangria). Our food came out really quickly and everything was delicious. I’m looking forward to going back again!

I feel like I keep giving high ratings but since dining out in Minneapolis I haven’t had many negative experiences. This was no different and even beyond being good, I was stunned to hear myself say “I can’t find anything to complain about.” I am super picky and this meal hit all the right spots. It was hot, the yucca was crispy, the flavors were phenomenal–the perfect combination of temperature, texture and taste.

This place is fantastic. The vibe is so summery with all the beautiful plants. The drinks, chips and patio made it feel like a staycation. The brisket arepa was full of flavor. Loved the yuca fries and the dips provided. I had the iced tea of the day strawberry rhubarb- it was really refreshing! To top it all off, the service is great. Can’t wait to visit again

Definitely very tasty arepas. Had a chance to try the pork, chicken and cuban arepa and all of these were very tasty. Couldn’t tell you which one was my favorite…pork was very flavorful, but the cuban was full of meat. I would say, stay away from the chicken arepa as although savory, there wasn’t as much meat on that one. I had a couple of drinks and both of the drinks were watered down, unfortunately. I have cocktails once every other month so kind of disappointed that cocktails here were lacking a kick. The dessert, horchata pot de creme, delicious! Arepas 5, drinks, 2, dessert, 5, 4 stars. Get a beer and have some delicious arepas at this joint! Oh yea, tiny parking place, so gotta drive around to find parking, but the food is worth it!

If you are looking for a nice place to an awesome brunch on a weekend, don’t look no further. Amazing vibe with absolutely great food options. Loved the taste and as well as variety. This was the first time I tried Arepa. I ate the shredded beef and plantain from the options. I loooooved it. Nice place for a date too. It was crowded when I visited on a weekend. But they keep on top of it and make sure you seated without much wait.

When I walked in the place was fairly full so I took it to go. I ordered a $17 dollar entree, went to the he bathroom quick, came out and the food was ready and bagged. You tell me what that says about this place. Food wasn’t bad but nothing to harp over nonetheless. This is one of those “take it for what it is” type of places.
