I would love this place to succeed and bring more complex flavors to the city. However, the prices are too high for the amount of the food. There are maybe 6 to 7 pieces of meat in a 20 dollar dish. I also expected more flavors. The banku and okra dish has a unique fishy flavor, combined with okra stickiness and a fermented fufu that most general public wouldn’t find appealing. The fufu and the goat/beef soup tasted average, the pie was rather blend. And as another reviewer mentioned, the food seems to be cooked somewhere else and only luke warm in the container.

very good food! and nice and HOT, wow, could tell it was made fresh. and the seasoning was awesome! ordered the fried fish with the sides, and that fish was bigger than my hand spread out!! me and my mom ordered two different meals and were able to split it AND take it home for leftovers. the lady was really nice and explained to us what was in each dish, and made ordering very easy. will come again to try more!

So not to defend but to educate us all, all our foods are freshly cooked but we try to serve it warm, that’s why we warm it for 15 seconds after serving. we will try and do better so we don’t have to warn food before selling.
