Delicious, so friendly, and a big menu with a ton of things I can’t wait to try on my next visit! Seafood bisque was incredible, as were the shrimp tacos. Husband got the pork chop with prosciutto and it was tender and very flavorful. Even the kid’s meal my son picked, chicken tenders with fries, was a step above what I would expect.

Wow. The owner Dan is a carpenter & handcrafted the interior. The venue is stunning. The beer choice has 16 taps (wow). They offer a flight of margaritas (4). The menu has mostly gluten free dishes & sides, which is rare. Staff & owner are very personable. This the best restarant bar in Orleans county. Check it out!!

On June 14, 2023, this establishment reopened under New Management. It has stated it is “gluten friendly”, but has not clarified this further. Prior ownership founded this establishment as a “gluten free” restaurant where any Celiac could eat confidently, and it was.

Honestly not sure if some of these reviews are for the right place. 2nd time here. Maybe 12 tables with guests, 3 waitresses, waited 30 minutes to take our order. 20 minutes later, we received one ice water. 30 minutes after that, we received our food. 2 of our party, still no drinks, not even a water. I ordered a draft beer. The food was over spiced. My daughter’s chicken poppers were burnt. My clams were small, with whole cloves of garlic. I ate a garlic clove thinking it was a clam. I desperately reached for my drink, but unfortunately still haven’t received it. So I stopped eating to wait for my drink. The calamari was frozen and then fried. The batter falling off and over spicy. We asked for fries, without the rosemary seasoning, but was told the fries come frozen and seasoned, so it couldn’t be removed. Nothing of our meal was fresh, not something expected from this style restaurant and the prices. As much as I tried to convince myself it was ok to eat, it really was bad. We decided to cancel the drinks, because we still haven’t received them or any water after over an hour. We returned all the food, paid the bill, and left. I’m not writing this to discourage anyone to go. I like having a nice restaurant in my home town. I’m writing this so hopefully the owners will step up their game, or maybe consider a menu that is easier for the cook to make.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Have not had a bad experience. Last year was proposed to here. Fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, french onion soup. Plenty of options to choose from. Even sampled the cocktail menu, pecan pie martini and an apple cider martini.

We had the fish fry special. It wasn’t very good. Tasted stale. Like they cooked a bunch in a big batch and put it under a heat lamp. The veggie of the day apparently changes though throughout the dinner service. All the social media of this restaurant bills it as an upscale place. I really can see how they are trying but their customers are following that line of thought. So a tip for you, don’t bother dressing up, casual is fine. The staff was super sweet and attentive. We are not local, so maybe they were having a bad night?

My husband and I took our 13 year old son out to dinner here. The wait staff was friendly, the food came out quickly and it was delicious. We all ordered steaks and they were cooked perfectly to our desired doneness.
