Now this place would typically be out of my price range but we recently had a company Christmas dinner here and I did not have to pay the bill. So that being said, the food was amazing. I had a five course meal and it was top notch. Specifically the 7 Fishes Salad and the roasted duck were delicious. The wine pairing was on point as well. I can’t imagine what this kind of meal would cost but if you ever get the chance to have someone else pick up the tab, go for it!

We visited Holly Hill during Lexington Restaurant Week. Our first impression was of the beautiful setting and huge old trees in the yard. Inside the building was decorated with paintings and murals making it feel generally “special”. And our meal was in fact special. Our first course was an unusual salad, green beans and a soft boiled egg with garlic caesar peppercorn dressing. Fantastic! Our entrees were a stuffed pork tenderloin with mixed greens, also truly excellent. Dessert continued the trend with a peach, blueberry, sorghum and ice cream creation. We loved everything. If forced to say anything was less than perfect it would be that the wine list could be improved. The offerings are okay but not up to the standard of the meal.

My wife and I have been to Holly Hill several times but the meal on August 26th was the best yet. The corn chowder and aguachile were the stars, and the lamb was cooked perfectly. Our server, Alicia, did a fantastic job pacing the meal and even let us try a wine not yet on the menu. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Incredibly balanced and well-proportioned dining experience. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The chef was easily able to cater to my wife’s dairy allergy which was greatly appreciated. Would love to return some day!

Excellent food & service overall. Gorgeous grounds and relaxed atmosphere in a quaint historical setting. Give the cheese grits a try if you are not a fan.

We celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time! The food was great and the wine pairing was perfect. Alecia did an impeccable job of hosting us and went above and beyond to make sure that none of the food I had contained any of my food allergens. 5 stars and look forward to coming back in the future!

Amazing dining experience! All of our selections for the four course dinner and wine pairing were fantastic. Above the food and service we also really enjoyed the historic home and learning the history of the former owners and uses of the property. Highly recommend!

It took me almost 36 years, but I finally made it to Holly Hill Inn, which in itself is a shame since they have BRUNCH! We enjoyed a fantastic 4-course dinner on the eve of the my fiancé’s parents 55th wedding anniversary.
