Came in for lunch. Dining room is clean, greeted quickly. We had a party of three, ordered the Special 4; shrimp, crab legs, crawfish, corn, potato, and egg. This was perfect amount of food for three people. Very good flavor, this wouldn’t have been my first choice but Holy Crab has made me a believer.

I have been going to Yummy Crab/Holy Crab since they first opened. Love the sauce! But today I went and instantly regretted coming. The all mixed butter sauce aka grease does not taste the same. At medium heat it was too hot. My seafood was overcooked. I asked for sausage after I already got my boil so it was in a separate dish. Even the sausage was overcooked. It had no flavor other than water. Highly disappointed, and as much as I love my seafood, I will never go there again. I’ll drive to Bloomington to Tasty Crab before going back to Holy Crab. Oh, I took a picture of my food! Didn’t realize until I looked at the picture that there was possibly a hair in it wasn’t mine since I was wearing a scarf!

Pretty good for Midwest snow crab legs (bar is pretty low). I got Cajun with Extra Hot seasoning and it was still pretty mild for my liking but good flavor. Food came quick and the staff were friendly.

I’m a peaceful man and respect others as I want to be respected. But yesterday I took my mom to Holy Crab restaurant in East Peoria and I feel racist white girl treated us with total disrespect and told me after I got up and checked her she told her co worker she was serving us and continued to walk by us serve the white couples sitting in back of us asking do need more water and empty glass waiting to be ask for a refill. We finished our meal and she didn’t bring my bill. Her co worker brought the bill and was polite. I see alot racist things go on but this my first encounter in full affect. I will never go there again and I have drive to Bloomington next time.

They are under new ownership and management. Everything is great ! We go here for birthdays and celebrations usually. The food is always good and the service is usually pretty good as well. They have a good variety of options on the menu and always make us feel at home. If you like seafood, crab especially, don’t hesitate to try this place. It’s worth it. ❤

The server was super nice and the food came out extremely fast, faster than I’ve even seen at other dine in restaurants. I ordered the seafood combo number one with a mix of all seasonings and it was amazing! The flavor was great, my boyfriend ordered the shrimp basket and the fries were SO good. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. The restaurant has a very calm environment and the decor is super cute and inviting

If you want a bowl of grease the place to go. I got all spices and medium heat and I got a bag full of orange grease it was disgusting didn’t even eat it My crab tasted old it was mushy. The best thing about the entire meal was the free wontons they gave us at the beginning other than that don’t waste your money

It’s a really cool place. Food was great and flavorful. They did mix up our checks somehow but thankfully our dinner dates ordered a similar amount of food and it was no big deal paying for each other’s. But other than that, we loved it and will definitely come back again.

He restaurant looked inside like it would be promising. However the food proved otherwise. Alligator basket was tasteless, catfish was undercooked, calamari was not good and nothing like calamari at Johnny’s Steak House, Red Lobster, or any other place that serves fish. Everything was fried and was probably frozen. Nothing fresh here.
