Pulled pork and brisket were good! The beans were some of the best beans we’ve ever had. I really didn’t like the Mac and cheese because it tastes like it has goat cheese in it and I’m not a fan of goat cheese but it was very creamy!

We enjoyed a bit of everything: ribs, pulled pork, brisket, mac n cheese and corn bread. I loved the basic salt and pepper rub, adding their sauce as desired. (Their sauce is good with a nice little bite.) Enjoyed all the meats – ribs were a little fatty. Mac was good but sauce thin. Staff was terrific! Recommended.

I heard about this place when it was opening and then totally forgot about it. I remembered the name and I’m so HAPPY it’s just 20 or so minutes away! And for a restaurant to be able to open and survive though the pandemic is saying a lot about what lies within! I was very excited about all of the reviews I had read that I couldn’t wait to taste it. The reviews and photos can’t give you any sense of the atmosphere, (even though I did take out) of the music you hear walking to the door, and the incredible smell! I had a hard time on my drive home because I couldn’t wait to dig in! I got a 3 meat plate with cider slaw – ribs, pulled pork and turkey. (My husband got turkey and brisket with beans and slaw.)I didn’t even touch the sauce! The slaw was perfect, light and not too sweet. I always read reviews, but don’t take the time much to write them myself, so I’m always very grateful for those what do. I called first, got all of my questions answered and ordered online. I have health issues, so I was very happy that the very upbeat employee said that they don’t wear masks. I have yet to dine in anywhere since prior to 2020 – not even outdoors. That’s the only comment I would make is to update the health and safety section on the website and in the question section. But I did call and say I had health issues and dietary questions and she was very upfront which I appreciated. I wore my N95 mask and it wasn’t crowded when I picked up my food. I’m also gluten free and grain free, so my side options are limited, but with the slaw and the meat and the pickled red onion which no one even talks about – I was more than happy – even if I can’t eat the Mac and cheese, cornbread, etc. The red onion goes so well with any bite of meat – it’s incredible! I wish I had more! I highly recommend (I’ve already shared with friends and family)! And perhaps when the weather warms up some, we will dine outdoors. But I will definitely return before then!

Stopped in on a whim today and so glad we did! Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the pulled pork, mac n cheese, apple slaw, and corn bread. Did the $75 meal for the 4 of us and we all left more than satisfied. The fire pits outside are a great touch and everyone was friendly. Definitely plan on returning!

If I could give a 6-star rating I would. This place is so simple – they smoke a ton of meat, and sell it until it’s all gone. It’s not the fanciest looking place, the outdoor seating is simple and basic. But you don’t go for the comfort or the view…the food is absolutely amazing. Especially the brisket, my oh my oh my, why haven’t I been here before!? Go eat here immediately.

This place is awesome. Cute atmosphere and great tasting food. The staff were kind and gave us a great recommendation. We ordered the Lone star platter so we could try a little of everything and it fed three of us very hungry people perfectly fine. Everything tasted immaculate. Highly recommend this place!

Best barbecue this side of Austin! These guys know how to cook brisket. It’s tender, juicy and delicious. Ribs are perfect amount of chew while still being tender. And the cornbread…..don’t get me started!! We’re hooked!
