I originally stopped for the BBQ but after seeing it and over hearing some other customers l opted for a sandwich instead. I absolutely loved the Reuben sandwich. Reubens are either hit or miss, but the portions were spot on and it was a real treat. Often people chimp on the dressing resulting in a missed flavor opportunity, but mine was beyond perfect.

If you’re looking for good ole Texas BBQ, this is not the place. Maybe it’s hit or miss for some people, I did see some delicious looking plates online before ordering from there. I picked up a combo plate that has brisket, ham, ribs, and sausage for $20. If there had been enough meat on the plate to justify that charge, I probably wouldn’t have even left a review. Guys… this plate was pathetic. The brisket was very fatty, which I guess is a risk you take ordering brisket anywhere. But in addition to the abundance of fat on the brisket and single rib, they both were tough and tasted reheated. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone on a Monday? My little slice of ham was pretty good, though a very dry… And the sausage, which they didn’t skimp on, was pretty good. Overall, I feel like 2 stars is worth what they had to offer. I probably won’t try them again tho.

This is a bit of an unfair review, but I am all about honesty. We stood for about 20 minutes waiting for a table, a lady (not a waitress) sat us & cleaned the table. We then sat for almost an hour before our waitress came up to our table asking us if we had been helped; (about 4 different people that came in after us were seated & waited on before us). Once we were waited on things started rolling, we got our drinks quickly after. Our waitress did mention to us that the kitchen was backed up & it would be out as soon as they can. We received our food and although I ordered bacon in my omelet I had sausage in it. It was opening day for TCY’s baseball/softball. They were not prepared for the rush that was getting there. They had 2 waitresses, that were running around. It was good food & I let the lady know that there would be games every Saturday for the next few months. We will be back, it was not their fault, again they were not prepared for the rush. I will update my review on my second visit.

Didn’t get a chance to try the food. Walked in and the place was almost empty at 12:30. A lady said sit anywhere. We sat down and waited while one employee stayed seated and the other walked to the other tables and then the kitchen. Nobody acknowledged us at the table. We had limited time and figured if we couldn’t even get someone to take our drink order we would never get our food in time. We got up and walked out passing an employee that just looked at us and never said anything. Very strange customer service experience. Sad too.
