We reserved a table for four and had a small dog with us. I was told when making the reservation on the phone we would be able to have the dog accompany us, but it had to be an outdoor table. We were excited! That’s what we hoped for. Upon arrival, after a 2 hour drive to the restaurant, we were told by the hostess that No Pets Allowed unless it was a service animal. Upsetting we had to leave him in the car.

This is a great place for an occasion or for casual dining at a high level. It’s one of those places you can trust the menu because everything is exceptionally well prepared and tasty. Even things you think you don’t like, they have elevated to a dish you find yourself loving. We had the beef cheeks and the Halibut special. Who would know that beef cheeks are like having your mom’s best pot roast. The Halibut was also great and well prepared. Combining great food with excellent service and you will be looking forward to your next visit to this excellent restaurant

A nice place and atmosphere. We were seated outside, and it got cold fast, they did bring one of their heaters. The selection of food and drinks, including beers, was great. We ordered 2-orders of the Focaccia with butter and that was excellent, so was the cauliflower appetizer, we also ordered the fried chicken for appetizer, although everyone loves it, I found it a little disappointing especially with all the hype. Dinner was a Pappardelle, strip loin, beef cheek, and the Lasagnette. Everyone enjoyed the food and seemed very happy with it, the Lasagnette was just ok, don’t order here, other selections seemed a lot better. We brought a cake for a birthday celebration, and they charged us $25 for serving it. Staff was great, professional, and very attentive.

Food portions are amazing and great for a family style meal where everyone shares a bit of each dish. Free fizzy water!!! These people get it. Tagliatelle with lamb was perfect, PERFECT. I will be dreaming about it.

Lovely place, feeling of home cooked meals but really elevated recipes and ingredients. Spent 3 days in Santa Cruz, dined here twice.

Some of the best food and wine I’ve had in Santa Cruz! Friendly, non pretentious down to earth staff as well! 5 stars:) Thanks for a great meal.

Home feels very homey and cozy. Friendly services! Fresh ingredients, seasonal menu. What not to love? Love the vegetable dish and pate for appetizer. For main course, we ordered abalone, squid ink pasta, and sea urchin pasta. All 3 were yum but if you like spicy, go for squid ink. Definitely try the mushroom tartelette for dessert! Amazing

Incredible culinary experience! They’ve got a good variety of dishes, and the prices range is from $25-$55. The menu changes depending on what’s in season, so expect something incredible and know it might not be back. Keep room for desert as well. Normally I pass on it, but my wife and I splurged and it was the best desert we had ever had.
