This is a super cute diner (it’s called cafe, but it’s more like an old time diner). It’s family run and owned and has a really quaint atmosphere. The food was pretty good, sides were a hit or miss, but the pie a la mode was best. I had the triple berry pie and it was fantastic! They have two seating areas, and in my opinion the front room is best as it has tons of windows and a little bar stool area, whereas the back feel a bit more stuffy and darker to me. Overall we had a really good time here as a family and when we’re in town we plan on coming again!

Delicious local mom and pop restaurant. Tried their off-menu breakfast sandwich the “Monte Cristo” which was fantastic. The scones were yummy and the boysenberry syrup was a perfect topping for it.

I had a relatively good experience here this evening. The food was adequate. I ordered a breakfast meal, and their ham tasted great, but I didn’t care for the biscuit & gravy. Plus, their service wasn’t great. I say that with the understanding they were short staffed. But everyone was friendly.

Found this place nearby to take my baseball loving friend for breakfast. Even though there’s no baseball decor we didn’t mind because the food was so delicious. I had the Greek omelet with fruit and tomatoes. My friend had steak and eggs. Both were delicious. Service is great. Rae is super sweet and accommodating.

We went this morning and we were very pleased with everything. Our server was great and the food was equally great. I got blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage. The pancakes weren’t overly sweet, the eggs were not overcooked and the sausage didn’t taste cheap. My kids had a great experience when they found out that they could pick from a wide variety of cold cereals. It was so nice to be able to get them something that they would for sure eat. I loved how kid friendly the menu was.

Oo-de-lally what a cheese burger! The service here was great and the burger blew my mind. You can tell by the taste that the beef they use is sourced locally. The Home Plate Café cheese burger is easily in my top three.

For a small town diner this place is pretty good I came here with my grandparents and great uncle and overall I’ve had some great food and some good memories here at the home plate. I’ll definitely have to come back on my next visit here in fairview
