Local favorite. Good breakfast selection. The whipped cream on the french toast and crepes reminds me of pastry or cake cream from European dessert places. Really good and filling. It gets super busy on weekends. Great little stop right off the trail with outdoor seating. Come early to get a good seat. And check out their variety of mimosas!

Great stop while riding the bike trail! Loved the outdoor seating and service. We had the eggs Benedict and I had the Florida Benedict which was delicious and would have been perfect if the muffin wasn’t soggy. Home fries were good. My mom enjoyed her Mimosa and I had a bloody Mary.

Home Plate has delightful outside seating for their breakfast and lunch offerings. Sitting in the shade on a sunny day and eating lunch with friends is very pleasant. Two of us had their bratwurst meal, one had schnitzel, and one had their Home Plate breakfast. We were all relatively pleased with our meals and the service was OK. They do a good business here, but you can usually get a table without a reservation unless there is a baseball game across the street; on game days, you want to get here early. I do not recommend their wrench fries; they are OK, but that is all.

Went for breakfast on Monday, sat in the yard, super beautiful environment, relaxing patio, off of the trail, we watched the bikers go by as we ate out pancakes, very delicious. The food is always great here. Service is spectacular we had a short blonde headed girl as our waitress, she is on top of everything. The other servers even filled our coffee. Great experience! Highly recommend eating in the beautiful yard

Friendly diner (breakfast and lunch only) with some German dishes. I had the Jager Schnitzel and it was fantastic!

Had a great lunch here. Back yard patio dining “on the Trail”. A great menu – eclectic mix of German and Mexican – all authentic. I had Bratwurst – excellent. And don’t forget a bottle if Hoffbrau beer – very tasty! I hear this place can get pretty crowded…for a good reason. Check it out!

These are the best waffles I have tasted in my entire life; soft with a hint of crisp and flavorful throughout the entire waffle.

We had lunch here a couple of times. The food was really good. I had the club sandwich. It was really good, nice and fresh. Grilled chicken breast with ham, avocado, lettuce tomato and mayo. Comes with tortillas chips but I substituted for a fruit bowl. Fresh strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, oranges and grapes. My husband had eggs Benedict and he said it was good. 2nd visit, I had the Rueben sandwich with fries. Fresh corned beef, sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing. Delicious. My husband had the Mahi, Mahi sandwich and said it was good. Prices are good too. 3.75+ for bottled beer and they make a nice refreshing ice tea. I had mine made with half regular tea and half sweet tea. Perfect blend. Will definitely go back here when we return to Dunedin next year.

Great little breakfast restaurant. Went just before a Jays spring training game. Food was great and reasonably priced. Friendly staff.
