Had a great all-around experience at Home Team BBQ within the Inn at Aspen on Buttermilk Mountain. This is the only restaurant on that mountain but it is a good one, especially if you like BBQ. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the food is solid, and the service is excellent. This place must get packed during the X Games!

Had a wonderful lunch here. Although I’m a vegetarian, I left this establishment very satisfied. I had the soup and grilled cheese, coupled with their side platter was a fulfilling meal. They also have a fun variety of hot sauce to choose from!

After a day of hiking or a day on the town, Home Team BBQ doesn’t disappoint. Who says good BBQ doesn’t exist in Colorado? This place is a prime example of good food! The service and vibes are spot on. During the summer, sit outside for views of the mountains.

Absolutely love this BBQ spot. They’re back patio rocks with live music on certain occasions and they allow dogs. Home Team BBQ sits at the base of Buttermilk Ski Resort. Spend an afternoon here soaking up the rays, tossing a frisbee to your pup and throwing back some barbequed brisket soaked in their Red Hot Sauce. Little pricy for the amount of brisket you get but it’s definitely worth it!

The food was pretty good. I can’t talk to any of the meats as I had veggie nachos. They were good; huge portion with a pretty hefty price tag attached. However our service was horrible. Members of our party asked at the start to have their orders on a separate check and were told that that would be easiest to do at checkout. We finished eating, and it took over an hour and two requests to various staff members to get our server to come back by the table with the check (no exaggeration…I had a 3 hour drive back home and was watching the time). When she did, she picked up various assorted items and STILL didn’t bring the checks. When she finally came with the check and we started asking abut splitting it as we needed, she said she couldn’t split it as we needed. A member of the group asked for the manager. The manager came and had a less than impressive response of “well, IDK what you all ordered to split it up.” Luckily others in the group had cash and I ended up paying for the whole meal and them paying me back in cash. Yes, it was faster for members of the group to go get change for big bills from another place in the restaurant and pay me in cash then it was to get any help from the server or the manager. Other tables with other servers received good and timely service. So, it seemed to be an issue with only this one server and the disappointing manager.

I came here for dinner on a Monday evening for an early dinner with my fiance. We were excited to see all the options for meats and then the sides for the platters. We ordered a double meat with smoked turkey and pulled pork and then a platter side. The chili and collard greens were particularly great. I’d say the beans and Mac n cheese were alright, but everything else good. The sauces right on the table were good too! In addition the pricing was reasonable considering the area. I’d recommend a stop in!

Where do I start? Rarely you find the the restaurant at the same place you are staying as stunning or fabulous. Well this one is both. The food and service are amazing and the view of Buttermilk Mountain right in front of you is unbeatable. The brisket is absolutely a delight and breakfast platter and pancakes are so delicious you will have to say something about it.

One of my favorite spots in Aspen. We came here twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. We tried out the breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros, breakfast sandwich, the brisket sliders, brisket tacos, and fried ribs. Every single item we ordered was extremely tasty and made to order! The fried ribs were my absolute favorite!
