Decent breakfast sandwiches. I don’t have a clue what they are doing with their coffee, and it doesn’t seem like they do either. It’s a bunch of kids working there and it seems like they’re just making things up as they go along. I ordered an iced mocha and I think what they made me was iced drip coffee with cream and sugar and some chocolate syrup? It was pretty awful.

It is okay. Chai latte was not bad but too sweet. Also, it is overpriced. More than 5 bucks for just a small size latte. But there is no other coffee shops near by. No other choice.

Ordered breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee… Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the egg and cheese waffle sandwich. I think we just found our new favorite South Philly breakfast spot 🙂 cafe atmosphere is great too!

The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious with some unique options and portion sizes were definitely filling. Loved the quaint little atmosphere. The lavender iced coffee with oat milk can’t be beat. I’ll be back tomorrow.

My wife and I moved to South Philly a couple years ago and HomeGrown immediately became a staple in our lives. Everyone who works here is super friendly and the food and coffee are both incredible. They also have an online ordering system you can use for pickup or delivery if you’re ever in a crunch for time.

I loved coming here! The inside is so warm and welcoming. It is a small space but great for a couple people to chat or to come alone. They have so many flavours for lattes and I tried the banana chocolate and it was amazingly delicious. The service I received was so friendly! I wish I was in South Philly more often so I could try it all the time.

We had 2 iced and 2 cheese steak. The everything roll was a nice surprise, and the black tea was strong. The lemon flavor for the green tea tasted like mountain dew.

Funky little coffee shop serving coffee, tea, and breakfast sandwiches. The lavender peach green tea was perfect for a chilly morning. The breakfast sandwich on an Italian roll was enough for two people or a hearty appetite.
