Baybeeeee!!!!! I swear this is a place I will visit time and time again. There was nothing we tried that we didn’t like! The ambience, the service, the food, the drinks… everything was on point! Everything is as the name says “home grown” and fresh. Fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh mango in my Tango Mango mimosa. Then I switched over to the Mimosa Sunrise for a little more kick and the tequila-juice ratio was perfect! The pancakes are like grandma’s pancakes- soft, fluffy, and melt in your mouth! The scramble was delicious as well as the Turkey sausage ordered as a meat. Hands down would recommend as a brunch destination in KC, Liberty, MO, or Arkansas!

Great atmosphere at the restaurant! Our waitress, Brooklyn gave us a great service and we truly enjoyed the breakfast. Sausage not as greasy and salty as many places and the scramble egg was so fresh. I ordered the specialty called Croissant French Toast and it was very good. Definitely going back!

The restaurant is very clean and inviting. The entire staff was very friendly and welcomed us with hot coffee. The Egg Benedict’s were good, yet I would try something new on my next visit.

I got the Jonny Cake “southern style” pancakes, the cornbread in them gave them a hearty taste and texture that also boosted their substance. My wife got the seasonal Pistachio Cherry French Toast. Dominique provided friendly excellent service and all the other staff we interacted with were great as well. We’ll be back for sure!

Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. They had their poor wait staff stretched a little thin for how busy they were. That’s truly my only complaint. The food was excellent and different than you kind find at most restaurants. I went simple with a Rueben, grilled veggies, and cheese grits. It was more than enough to share.

I’ve had brunch here 4 times now and it never disappoints. There would have been a 5th time, but the wait would have been too long for me to get to a Dr’s apt. Check online before you go, can even check into the wait list reminder the day before. You get notified 15 minutes before your wanted arrival time to get in line. The patio is pleasant too weather permitting. Messenger Coffee is a bonus plus! The Honey Bee is good.

Excellent choice for Sunday breakfast during a KC weekend getaway! We shared a lemon tart to start. Fab! I then had the Florentine Benedict w biscuit substitute as my base (not an Eng Muffin fan). Best Beni’s I’ve ever had. They were paired with a reasonable serving (not overkill) of cubed home style potatoes seasoned to perfection. Iced vanilla latte, yum, w almond milk. Thanks Home Grown, we’ll be back.
