So disappointed. We use to love Homerun hero’s but the lack of meat on these sandwiches should be embarrassing to them. Over $21 for these two hero’s (ham and Swiss and Italian hero) The price is ok if there was anything on the sandwich. I don’t even like an overstuffed sandwich but this is ridiculous. Used to eat here all the time when I worked in the area. Stopped in recently for old time’s sake. It was good, but not as good as it was a few years ago. But the guy at the counter had boils and scabs all over his arms and hands. I hope he wasn’t the one doing the food prep because that is extremely gross and he wasn’t wearing gloves or anything. Huge turn-off and I will not be going back for that reason alone.

This isn’t the first time I went in there as either an Uber or doordash driver. The man working there is beyond rude every time. Today he was reading the paper. Didn’t bother acknowledging me. I asked if an order on the counter was for so and so. He nastily asked me well what does it say? Are you kidding me? I responded sorry I didn’t want to touch the wrong bag or just assume that was the policy. I dread taking orders from there. I know exactly what to expect. Nobody can be just having a bad day that often. If you hate your job so much find something else. If your the owner shame on you. I see tons of complaints about this gentleman, and nothing has been done so far, so obviously this post is probably pointless unless it stops one person from going in.

This was normally our favorite go-to place for Heroes. We’ve noticed the last couple of times the sandwiches have gotten smaller. The last time we got sandwiches for takeout we were on our way to visit our daughter in Boston. We stopped halfway to have our sandwiches and we’re totally disappointed. It seems that the bread has shrunk, the amount of cold cuts were equivalent to Subway. It actually felt like we were eating a sandwich out of a Frankfurter roll. This is very disappointing because we used to love this place. I don’t know what’s happened to it but we won’t be going back

ordered a simple turkey Swiss tomato hero it was gross the turkey low grade gummy turkey im a diabetic i had to eat through away the turkey m ate the bread with cheese unreal !! will never return !! beware low quality cold cuts

I ordered the Bronx Bomber. It was turkey, ham, bacon and swiss cheese on a 13 inch hero. The first half I ate had 2 slices of turkey and 3 slices of thick cut deli ham with 1 slice of melted Swiss cheese. The second half had 1 slice of turkey and 1 and 1/2 slices of ham with very little melted Swiss cheese. The bacon was almost raw and I told them to over cook the bacon. I honestly believe that the hero came out of a microwave rather than being cooked on a griddle. I was robbed out of $13 for something that I couldn’t eat. It wasn’t the cleanest of places and I wouldn’t recommend going there!!

The owner of this place is not kind to Uber eats or doordash delivery people. He did not even acknowledge me when I walked in and said hello. Disgusting attitude. I will never order from here. I’ve never been treated so poorly by someone while doing food delivery.
