So my work crew and I went here for lunch today and when I say never again….. so the young lady at the front was very polite when I placed my order. I ordered the special with 2 slices of pizza and a drink. I was told that I had to get the pizza that was already cooked in order to get the special, so I asked if anything fresh was coming out because the pizza looked like it had been sitting a while. The young lady started to ask one of the men about fresh pizza but she was hesitant (as if she didn’t want to get verbally abuse or chewed out ). I told her it was cool that I would still get it with mushrooms added and also some garlic Parmesan boneless chicken. So I stood waiting, then one of the fellas in the back told me that he would call my name when my order was ready. After about 10 minutes I got the pizza and it was ok. 15 minutes after that I got my boneless wings and fries…… it was horrible, the fries were burnt and the boneless bites were so salty they gave me a headache after just eating one. At first I wasn’t going to say nothing but my coworkers insisted I speak up since I spent $18.89. So I take the food back to the front and when the young lady sees me with the food in hand she looked terrified. I explained to her what was wrong and she apologized and asked if they could remake it but I declined due to me having to get back to work. Instead I asked for a refund. Again, she was hesitant to go tell the cook with the glasses but she did. He was so rude to her it was sickening. Then he looked up and saw it was I, an African American woman and said “whatever”, snatch the food from her, and rushed her to give me my money back as if to rush me off. The young lady looked so scared….. Clearly the cook with the glasses seems to be a bully, has a horrible attitude, and possibly racist. I will NEVER EVER eat there again. Oh yeah here’s the picture of the fries compared to my coworkers ……smh

When they call them pizza balls, they really mean cheese balls (with or without pepperoni.) Not a bad thing! I was expecting marinara sauce or something but it’s pretty much a delicious gooey hot breaded cheese &/or pepperoni ball. They’re a pretty good size too! I would definitely recommend getting a small salad with them, to cut all that cheese.

Pizza by the slice. My son and I were able eat dinner for less than $12, including drinks. The gigantic pizza slices and generous portion of toppings were the primary reason that our food was so inexpensive. Place was clean, service was prompt and the food tasted good. Definitely glad that they are in the neighborhood!

Another great Homeslice dinner. No pizza tonight but the subs were all awesome. Loaded full, hot, and very flavorful. Empty baskets are the end is always a sign all was enjoyed. No after pics, but the before pics of the Stinger and Chicken Tenderloin (hot) should make you hungry.

Great casual place for a slice of pizza. Used to come here all the time when it was Burke St Pizza so I was skeptical to try this place but glad I did. 2 slices and a drink is around $9. With that being said, there are a few things that make me not visit more often. The booths and/or tables are always dirty. Each time I visit, I’m usually the only customer dining in and I always pass over at least 2 tables to find a cleaner one. The floor is sticky and their drink machine always has issues. Either the soda is watered down (Pepsi coming out clear) and the sweetened tea will be empty. I’ve had to ask for my slices to be heated up more on 2 occasions.

This used to be a good restaurant I ate there 3 times a week. The last 2 times I been the food is not good and the place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 2 months. Obviously going down hill there was hardly anyone else there during lunch place used to be full every day. What a shame
