We tried Homestead for the first time last night and we loved everything about it! Service was great. We ordered the shishito peppers (I wish these were always on the menu-delicious!), the bread (also delicious), and the cod and pasta with pancetta and squash (both totally delicious!). I woke up dreaming about my dinner. I can’t wait to go back!

We’ve been here several times, as we love the Rigatoni Bolognese and their special stuffed pasta which changes regularly is always tempting! Tonight we ventured to try a few other pasta dishes as well. The marinated olives and foccacia are a great starter. The Black Rose is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had! Friday night around 5:30pm we didn’t have reservations, but scored seats at the bar, and received tremendous service by the male bartender that night!

Began the meal with the focaccia and the burrata. Both were really good. The burrata was placed on a bed of cabbage and sweet potato, interesting profile and pairings, would definitely recommend trying it. The focaccia came out quickly and had enough pieces that we were also able to enjoy it with our entrees. I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to try the menu addition that featured the scallops. Ordered the ricotta dumplings pasta and they were okay, the sausage that was in the dish was pretty good. Our other entree was the spaghetti that had a buckwheat pasta and mushrooms, definitely a different taste than “normal” pasta but was good. The martini was made well and the service was pretty quick and definitely pleasant.

Unique and satisfying food with excellent service in an inviting interior. I’ve been here twice, and having been around this area for a while now, I can confirm that the price point and quality are really good. I was surprised by how good the skirt steak was for $33 – it was cooked perfectly, had delicious veggies with it, and was nicely plated. It did say it was “sharing” size, which I think was wrong since I had no trouble eating it myself after an appetizer and still had dessert, but that’s beside the point: this place is great.

last dinner in Northampton was savory and very filling. Had 2 pastas, 1 appetizer, 2 desserts for 3 people. Great portions for sharing, get the focaccia!

It is a lovely open space restaurant that still allows for intimacy to talk. It is a great place to share plates together with thoughtful and casual service.

Dropped in both times I came to eat at this wonderful and absolutely delicious place. It’s a breath of fresh air to the particularly stale and underwhelming restaurant scene here in Northampton. The food is delicious, I had a wonderful wine and exceptional tiramisu. It’s up there with any self respecting Italian restaurant in any major city. Keep it up!

Really cool concept here. Everything has an farm-y, home-y feel to it, from the decor, seating and walls down to the food and drink menus.

Yesterday, my twentysomething daughter and I stopped in for drinks and appetizers, which were delicious.

Fresh creative, dishes in a comfortable, if not a bit loud, atmosphere. Would have been 5 stars if all 5 of the dishes we ordered to share had not come at the same time.
